This was a delivery order to our hotel. I don't believe I've ever experienced a biscuit so hard it literally had projectile pieces as I taped it on my table. Or a fruit cobbler that was only fruit no dough or some sort of breading. But I found all of this disappointment on 1 cracker barrel. I'm a frequent diner at any of their stores but this wasn't it. When I called to let a manager know she acted like I was a bother and told me "the peaches are your cobbler!" Um no ma'am this is a bowl of peaches and that it. The experience overall left a bad taste in my mouth, literally, and I didn't even bother talking about how cold and over cooked the fried chicken was. The pecan pancakes were delicious. They remembered the apple butter I called to have sent for my biscuits. But by far one of the worst food experiences ever.
Food was good. They were very busy and unorganized and hard to keep up with who put their name down for table reservations.
Good service and good taste, there are always a lot of people and that generates a lot of ambient noise but their food is very tasty, it is worth the noise and they are very quick to attend.
Parking was plentiful and there was no waiting. Jarrett seated us right away. Kim was our server and she was excellent. My friend had the fish fry (cod) with steak fries and turnip greens. The greens were okay, but we both thought the fish was great! And the steak fries were crispy on the outside and pillowy soft inside. She also ordered the "watermelon lemonade" and said it was refreshing. I had the Sunday Chicken which had a great crust, but was kind of cool and tough. My broccoli, corn and mashed potatoes were not warm and my gravy was very cool. I boxed them up to try later as I did not want cold food. I had sweet tea. The total bill was $37 plus tip. If I had also ordered the fish and chips too, i would have rated it 4 or 5 stars.
I want to give kudos to our waitress Connie. She was the sweetest most kindest waitress we’ve ever had. She was so fast and made sure we had everything we needed. She checked on us 2x to see if we were satisfied. We haven’t had good service in any Cracker Barrel till now. Connie deserves to be rewarded for her outstanding service.
Horrible service
The most friendly staff at the cracker barrel. Always delicious food. Kristi was a sweetheart. And Scott went above and beyond. He has 4 stars on his vest but he definitely deserves more. He appears to do not only his job but additional tasks I'm not seeing the other servers doing.Overall, wonderful experience. Definitely one of the best locations around!
Great breakfast as always, the quality of the food is better than the competition and you can really notice it on the flavor and texture of the food. Service was great as well and the nice decore that makes you feel relaxed.
Amazing place, service great, ok price for a hot cooked meal, only waited 6 mins to be seated. My server Jake was great!!
Fast and courteous servers.
