This place is absolutely disgusting! Do your self a favor and don’t stay here!! Get on Hotwire and book a 4 star hotel for less! We ended up swapping rooms here twice because the first room was dirty and one of the beds was not even made up, the pillows that were there without pillow cases were Disgusting! The rooms smell! There are bugs. Th outside area is very unkept. The floors are nasty, we were woke up at 2 am by the smell of Pot! Someone was standing outside our room smoking pot and the smell was coming through air conditioner. There is rift raft that roams the parking lot at all hours of the night, cars coming and going at all hours, I assume drug deals. The pictures they have up on various booking sites are very deceiving.
READ REVIEWS BEFORE STAYING!!!!for being in the hospitality industry myself this is quite embarrassing, DO NOT stay here unless you don’t mind sleeping in a already used bed and unkept room, im not even sure if the room received any cleaning before our arrival. basically the whole place is pretty sketchy and after staying here i would not recommend. also don’t recommend forgetting anything but if you do, don’t rely on this hotels staff and managements poor communication and time management skills to get back to you.
In all honesty, how I ended up at this particular Clarion was that I was trying to rebook a Clarion I had stayed at before in the Walt Disney World area, and on the website it didn't specifically say this was the hotel I stayed in before so I just assumed it was.Only because it is on the same street, in the same town, with the same name, but it definitely was NOT the same hotel.Some of the walls/doors were visibly dirty.The light fixture cover in the bathroom was missing.The furniture had highly visible wear and tear/surface damage.The tile in the shower were misaligned causing gap, and a bit dirty. All of which made me uncomfortableThe shower didn't drain properly.There were holes around the switch plate of the light switch facing directly towards the toilet, this made me uncomfortable.There was no overhead light in the main room, so you had to walk into the dark room to turn the lamp on, and the lamp was kind of showing tarnish or rust not really rust, maybe dirt?The corners of the down comforters we're visibly dirty.The ice machine was broken.The pool definitely could have used a skimming and tile cleaning.Oh, and, the TV had lines running up and down the picture.I have pictures of most of these issues. Not the pool because I didn't want to take my phone to the pool.Overall not the quality I expected.I know what you're saying-you're saying, listen you're getting a hotel room for under $100 a night be happy with what you got.Maybe I could have been happy there had I not already stayed at another Clarion that was 10 times better.Now that I know they exist, this just wasn't one of the good ones.We stayed our entire stay and I'll tell you why, we stayed our entire stay because when I booked it we got the Clarion rate and there were no cancellations.We're not the kind of family that can just hop from hotel to hotel.I couldn't afford to lose almost $300 that day.It was a very expensive three days.I don't usually go by reviews, but next time I will definitely take them into consideration.
Pictures online are very very outdated. The place is so run down and grounds are unkept. What a dark dirty place that I brought my children too unfortunately. We stayed in room 143 where multiple holes were in the wall. The carpet was FILTHY! My kids couldn’t walk around without shoes on without have their feet turn black. The woman at the reception desk told me they just opened those rooms back up. For $173 I would have rather just slept in my car.
My room was nice .. i didn’t have any bugs or anything .. I had clean sheets and clean bathroom. I stayed over the weekend. I had to wait until Monday to pick up a load.
TV did not work, young clerk asked for $100 cash deposit.Dangerous parking lot.Close this location.Bed was terrible, loud, and dirty.Loud noises outside all night.Cigarette smoke from outside room.AVOID!!!
I made the mistake of booking late and way over paid for this dump of a property. The property is very run down and dirty. The hot tub was cold. It rained and the path to the ice maker and office flooded with 2-3 inches of water. Then when I got to the ice maker it was broken. The room looked pretty good considering the outside. No light to door switch. The drawers in the dresser wouldn't stay closed. Refrigerator buzzed loudly all night. The cops showed up for some disturbance. Check out day I woke up to dumpster fire on the other side of the fence in the parking lot of pizza hut. It could have been bad my truck was pretty near the fire. There was a dodge charger closer and it had ash and water spray from the fire hose. The breakfast was cold cereal coffee and juice. They did have a waffle maker but it wasn't great. I paid after taxes and such $200 a night. I'd have been better off at a Budgetel. I expected a hotel with the Clarion name to be better.
Hmmm, let me give credit where credit is due..... Mr Jean was definitely the highlight of this establishment. Now let's get right to it. This is not truly a Clarion Suite and Inn (only by name), because I've stayed in Clarions all over the USA and the quality has always been parallel to Comfort. This motel supposedly a mid-grade Choice establishment is of the lowest..... Roadway! My mother-in-law and father-in-law are elderly, they notice everything. My wife who travel with me frequently notices everything. Baby roaches and small flying insects in room. Nope their old they don't keep the door opened. Initially, there was no Elite member acknowledgement, there's no Elite parking, an establishment this size one ice machine.... OUT OF WORKING ORDER! This is Florida we're talking about. Breakfast served was a joke luckily the location featured other places to eat. The grounds are not kept the sidewalks are stained but then soiled, dirty, and littered. Being a motel style establishment I was awakened each morning with the staff dragging laundry buggies up and down the stairs (Bump bump bump bump bump etc etc over and over). Get we're on vacay who wants to get up earlier than you want to get up. And then they have this setup inside where you're pressured into talking about vacation services and clubs..... just to get a parking pass for the establishment. I'm saying for the prices required to stay here a hot breakfast and cleaner facility should be required. And to top it off they try to require you pay a Resort fee? Report fee for what amenities? They have absolutely nothing resembling resort anything with the exception being proximity to. In short don't let the pictures fool you, there's better. I'm disappointed ?
Currently staying in this hotel for the first night and I’m booking another hotel for the remainder of the trip. We were assisted(using the term very loosely) by Orlando who moved at a glacial pace and very incompetent. After providing us with a key we put our items in our room just to come back not being able to get in the room. When we went to the front desk, another patron of the hotel was also locked out his room. After over 45 mins of us standing outside, Orlando informed us the door was broke and out items were stuck in the room. They eventually opened the door and we were able to retrieve our items. The fitness center is out of service, ice machine has no ice and the pool is green. I don’t suggest anyone give this staff/property the opportunity to disappoint you. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
The room was very acceptable. Plain standard king. The bed was comfortable, the room was nice and clean. It was just me and my wife. Did a quick little get away. Great price. Only disappointing part of our stay was in the listing when we booked this hotel. Said they provided transportation back and forth to the local parks. Disney and Universal and we found out when we got there that they DID NOT! If you want to save money on lodging I would recommend it. Front desk service was great. Jolene was a breath of fresh air.
