First of all the girl that was taking orders definitely didn’t want to be there, you could tell. My sister tried to place another order after we both had made a previous order and kept getting told to wait a minute and the sliding glass closed in her face. This happened several times so my sister gave up. For the food we did manage to order it took probably 30 or more minutes to receive it. So if you are in a hurry, I would suggest you don’t go here. Also, my sister’s tea tasted like it had been sitting out all day and my fries were crazy hard and burnt.
This seems like the world's busiest Checkers. It located within Old Town and gets a lot of traffic. If you're busy and super hungry, I wouldn't recommend waiting. However, we waited one late night and our food was hot. The staff was polite. No complaints.
Do not eat anything from there until the code information does a food surprise food safety check up . They just served under cooked burgers very very salty with a rotten taste to them. Didn't love their new sweet potato seasoned fries. Thier regular seasoned fries are still the best. Everything else was spot on, as usual.
The area was extremely crowded and busy!!!!! The wait in the drive thru line was long!!! The employees taking the order was professional. The food was correct and fresh!!!
Literally the worst fast food I ever had. The chicken was so tasteless and felt that it came straight out of the freezer. The burger looked like it could spoil at any minute. Literally the fires that is sold at the local mart packaged with their brand tastes better than this! Not eating at a checkers or Rallys again.
Just went to this location with my kids, after driving home sit down to eat and realize they shorted us my sandwich. Called the location and pretty much was accused of lying.. when I asked twice for the managers name( who says he was who made and put sandwiches In the bag) because he’s not being honest, they then say they will remake the sandwich but I must come back tonight with the receipt. Keep your sandwich because managers who lie probably have zero moral character and would likely do something to the sandwich. Managers name is Miguel.. so I was told. Your Gm should probably better screen your managers if they aren’t honest to your paying customers. I don’t lie nor steal but definitely taught my kids a good lesson this evening on how just because someone is in a position of management doesn’t mean they are honest good people!
I went here because it's been years since I have been to a Checkers. The food was not bad but didn't taste like I remembered at all. The cashier wasn't rude but just very short. Must have been a busy day.
My husband, me and our daughter had our first experience at checkers and we loved it! Very cheap but great food. Never knew of a fast food place to get sweet potato fries before. But I'm pregnant and been craving them so I'll definitely be back!
The staff were incredibly rude. Gave us the wrong sandwiches and no napkins in the bag. When we went up to ask for the correct sandwiches and napkins the woman at the register rolled her eyes and was very snobby. This was our first time visiting a checkers and will be our last. On a side note the fries were great though.
