I have to rate a 3 instead of a 4 start because we have a child with a deadly food allergy and she was given a plate with the allergen on it, when we questioned the food runner. he said "that the plate was made to order and didn't contain the allergen." 'But he requested our daughter to please wait to eat and he would double check with the kitchen." He came back and reported the cooking staff had made an error and added the allergen to the meal even though we had included the allergen information in our reservations and went over it again with our server who promised the restaurant was well versed in handling these types of orders. Thankfully my wife and child caught the mistake and questioned the server our our evening would have taken a possibly deadly turn. The manager did come our later and apologized for the error and removed the charge for our daughter's meal from our bill. Our server was okay, but we really appreciate the food runner for his attention to our needs. Yes would would recommend but be sure to question what is brought out to you if you have any allergies.

The iceberg lettuce had a full cup of Blue cheese on it. Order it on the side. The shrimp scampi niches have no flavor but a garlic and olive oil base. Our waitress was the highlight of the meal. She was great with the set up and refills till the check!!!

The food was good, but the problem arose when my bone-in fillet came out barely warm to the touch, and on a cold plate. The baked potato also was served on a cold plate. I had to send the steak back, where they cooked it a bit longer. Unfortunately, because of the cold plate, the meal cooled again very quickly. I believe this could have been a really outstanding meal if they would take the time, or have the forethought, to serve their hot dishes on hot plates.
Staying at Reunion Resort and decided to try 7953 Chophouse. Was very pleased from the food to the overall experience!
Fantastic job by all of the Chophouse! The food was absolutely incredible, the service fantastic, the view â¦everything was perfect! So looking forward to our next time!
JR welcomed us at the door and set the friendly yet professional service. Every server had a smile. The food was wonderful! Steaks perfectly prepared & the grouper special was excellent. Nice wine list.
