Tropical vibes is a great place to stop in Key West for some very interesting and original ice cream. The staff was very nice and helpful. It’s really cool to watch them work on the ice cream in front of you. The ice cream was delicious! They also have non-dairy items as well. We will definitely go back on our next trip to Key West.
When looking for a cute “mom and pop” ice cream place to take my family too, I didn’t realize it was going to be a whole dang experience! Their unique rolled ice cream was incredibly good, and you can watch them make it right in front of you…and you get a lot for what you pay for! My daughter didn’t waste her Hawaiian ice! Don’t sleep on Tropical Vibes! They’re the best around!!
The customer service was amazing!!! The guy who rolled my ice cream kept asking if I wanted different toppings thrown in to make it extra delicious! Some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had and such a cool experience! Highly recommend this place :)
The hours online didn’t align with the hours they posted on the store door. We tried to go THREE times and still no rolled ice cream. So even if you checks hours the day before and go during the store hours posted on the door, they may have a new sign posted that day that they closed early. Good thing there are lots of yummy ice cream places in Key West!
What more can I say-rolled ice cream and Dole Whips. We walked across town for these wonderful cool treats. Staff was friendly. Shop was cool and clean.

They have Dole Whip! And it tastes just like Disneylands!! Also really good snow cones. But be warned the snowcones are huge. Seriously one of their serving sizes is a bucket. But did I mention the original pineapple Dole Whip.
We came across this local small business while we were in Key West last weekend and decided to give it a try!! I’m so glad we did! It did NOT disappoint!! We got to meet the owners and they are so friendly! The shop is so bright, cheerful and inviting! We loved it so much that we came by on our way out of town!! They have a few merchandise items!! We had the shaved ice both times. The large is HUGE and at a great price!! We also added condensed milk and it was amazing!!! If you’re in Key West, you definitely need to give it a try! It’s on the corner of Fitzpatrick Street and Greene Street!!
