The Flaming Buoy was an all round incredible experience! The atmosphere, food and staff were excellent. Brad went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of and our party of 5 had a wonderful time. The decor was also a lot of fun with many Star Wars references throughout the restaurant.
Excellent food and atmosphere!Trio for appetizer and main is a great way to try different things. Scallops and shrimps-my top 2.Very friendly funky service. We loved it. After Miami, where you pay so much $ for just “ok” good- it was a great meal. Would go back 100%.
My wife found this place on Trip Advisor and it was worth the search. It is small, quirky and excellent! I ordered an Asian noodle with shrimp meal while she ordered ribs. We shared and both were excellent. Both entrees had well blended spices enhancing the flavors as fine dining should. We loved finding all the themed details behind the bar and in the restroom. This is not your neighborhood Apple bee's. If you are a foody looking for those little special quirky great food places, this is it.

What an amazing evening with Jirka at the Flaming Buoy! The flat bread caprese was delicious and the ambiance was very comfortable and the Star Wars object d’art was a whimsical addition! The bacon wrapped filet with blue cheese cream sauce was wonderful and tender as were the red skin mashed and the sautéed spinach. The Danish ribs were HUGE and tender…. the spicy green beans were a surprising fresh delight. Mac and cheese was rich and done perfect! Do not miss your chance to experience this amazing place. Reservations are 100% recommended⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Next to the theatre on a side street, if you walk by during the day you might think it's an empty storefront. BUT don't be fooled! Cozy supper club with fabulous food and service. Husband had a surf and turf special with lobster thermidor and filet mignon and said it was the best meal we had in KW. The place belongs to folks who live Star Wars, so don't forget to look up at the ceiling and check out the bathroom. Be sure to call ahead for a reservation.
You walk in and the restaurant decor looks modern chic and very inviting. Better yet, as you sit and look around there are subtle Star Wars items - not like "Oh my, I'm in a Star Wars restaurant (except the bathroom)" but like "Oh, I just noticed a Chewbacca doll high up on the bar next to the wine. How cool!". Food was quite good - grouper entree and on the trio entree was perfect! Seafood well cooked overall. The curry shrimp on the trio needed more curry sauce. Appetizer trio also very good.
Scot, what a restaurant you have created! The decor blew us away! The food is as out of this world as the Star Wars Galaxies!!!! I cannot start to list what we experienced, but get there early, and try to see a movie next door at the Tropic Cinema for a night that you will not forget! And then head back afterwards for an after movie drink!!! The staff made us feel right at home. Brian could not have been a more attentive and helpful bartender!!! And just a good person! The amount of repeat customers that we met while we were there speak volumes of the Flaming Buoy…. Scot, tell Mom she can rent out your room!!!! Love you guys!!!!
Very cool restaurant with great owners. Food was delicious. Large wine selection. No cocktails. I had the trio and the grouper was awesome. If you're a Star Wars fan you will love the decorations.
Wonderful little restaurant. Excellent seafood - the appetiser trio was very good. Make sure you book as there are only a few tables.
