Food was average. Service was slow. Had heard really good reviews but was disappointed. Italian food was not exceptional at all.
This is our second visit here. The staff was great, Gabby our server was excellent. Food was great. We will definitely return.
Roostica has great food. However, if you get Gabby as your server your experience will be multiplied 1000%. She is f$%king amazing. Never running, always available, pleasant and perfect poised. I will ask for her every time! She made the entire experience over the top. If I had more money she'd have a bigger tip but...rent :/ Whomever hired her is the smartest manager. Ever. She is worth her weight in gold! I will tell everyone how awesome she is! Thank you, Gabby, for being the rockstar that you are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have been coming to this place since it opened. The food is good. We love the fig and pig pizza.The service is hit or miss for us. Last night, our apps came before our drinks . It was close to 15 minutes before our drinks arrived and we could see them sitting at the bar waiting on our server. Getting the 2nd round was equally difficult. We ended up leaving before we wanted because of service and no the restaurant was not packed.Also, the kids at the counter who dress the salads and ready the plates are constantly eating from the fixings station. It can’t be part of health regulations. I’ve witnessed it on multiple occasions, the brown headed guy tossing things in his mouth and then squirts on balsamic. The blonde guy stands around biting his nails and running his hands through his hair before grabbing plates to deliver.I know this place is laid back and that’s the beauty of it but service and health standards still have to play a role.
I will start by stating the service was the worst part of the experience. I am from Jersey and know Pizza- If you know Pizza don't bother going- It's fair to midland at best
My husband and I went to try the wood fired pizza. Ordered a Margarita pizza, sweet Italian sausages with peppers and onions in sauce and meatball sliders. The pizza was very good but we were blown away by the sausages and meatball sliders! Delicious!! Will definitely eat there again.
Dreadful dining experience. Give this restaurant a wide berth. The manager is not fit to be running a restaurant. He is aggressive, argumentative and definitely zero customer awareness. Rather head to Hog Fish (sister restaurant).
The pizza is very good. It’s a cute little place, too. I like that it is way from the hustle and bustle. The service was “meh”. Prices are reasonable.
Pleasant dining experience. There was a bit of a wait, but the bar opened up and he quickly claimed two seats. The bartender was fun and friendly and on top of her game. We got bruschetta for an appetizer and the bread was out of this world. Altogether it was delicious of course. We split gnocchi and a pizza - both of which were delicious.
Tried this place because of the reviews received. Place was busy but we were seated in about 15 minutes. Ordered drinks and pizza at the same time. The food took awhile and the watress apologized a couple of times. However, people seated later were getting their food. Ours came and it was burnt. We tried to salvage what we could instead of waiting another 30 minutes or so. We were never asked if everything was ok as she did other tables. Terrible pizza and service. See photo.
