Restaurant stunk, it was dirty, floors were gross. Nachos we never doing any meat. The seafood platter was disgusting, wasn’t fresh and was outright gross. Would never come back. Manager stated he was sorry he didn’t catch the fish, no one catches frozen fish. Almost done with what we could eat by the time we got our drinks.

We were tired and wanted something quick. So we went as it was the “original.” Food was the same as any other chain location. However the seafood platter seemed to be missing the seafood. Portions were off. My son’s fish tacos were too salty to eat. Service was terrible and they were not that busy. There were three of us. Two split one meal. It was still $100 for frozen food. ?

Service was slow but the manager was doing his best to keep up. Coconut shrimp was good and the the spinach artichoke dip was good. I for sure want to come back when there is live music because I bet it is awesome. Overall very good.

GROUPIE? If you’re a margaritaville fan you’ll enjoy this place. Huge wide open design. Staff was very nice. Food was good. However the nachos are NEXT LEVEL. Look at the size of them. WOW!!!!! There is an upstairs also. Fun Environment to be around. Next time I’m hoping to catch some music onstage.

What used to be good is now less than bad. The 20$ Fish and chips, fish was about the same quality and shape as a fish stick from Publix. The burger was tasteless and about the size as a McDonalds burger.

When in Key West, how can you pass up a cheeseburger in paradise at the original Margaritaville? That was our mindset, anyway. Food and service was good, but nothing to write home about. We've had better but we're glad we went. Just a heads up, if you get there at 11:00 expecting them to be open... they may not be. They open, in true Keys style... when they're ready. In our case around 11:30.

This place is just cashing in on the name. The burgers are obviously out of a packet and the preparation is minimal, the bbq burger had a half teaspoon of bbq ailo and two scrawny Oscar Mayer looking pieces of bacon. The crab cakes tasted a bit old. There are better places in Key West, give them a try first.

Really enjoyed this place. I had the fish tacos which were absolutely delicious. So lightly breaded they were perfect. We didn't order them but I got a picture of the volcano nachos which are huge and look delicious. Drinks good came in a souvenir cup. I had the blueberry moonshine margarita..... Very good! This is a key West must. Lovely little gift shop next door with the typical t-shirts key rings coffee cups and shot glasses.

First time here.We were quickly seated any place we wanted. The menu offered a wide variety of appetizers, lunch, dinners and drinksWe had Fish Tacos, Salmon Dinner, and a great big Nacho dish plus drinks.Everything was perfect. The waitress was very pleasant and on the spot. I forget her name but I remembered she just had a new born. She has a nice sense of humor.

My husband is a huge Parrot Head and has always wanted to come to Key West. The original Margaritaville did not disappoint. It was smaller than other ones and had more charm. The waitstaff was friendly. My husband got a cheeseburger and fries (in his paradise) and I got a Southwestern Salad. We both enjoyed them a lot. He had a Landshark and I had a “Perfect Margarita” and it was PERFECT so I had two! It was everything he hoped it would be and an awesome kickstart to our vacation!
