4 year anniversary! Amazing food and dining experience.
In Key West for a couple of days with my wife and daughter and sought out this restaurant. Was not disappointed. We arrived early however the rain had passed and we sat outside until our table was ready with a nice Albarií±o to start. The menu is a 4 course taster menu with âadd onsâ we had 6 Maine oysters to start. Beautiful, could have ate them all night! There was 3 choices per course so two of us had the lobster sushi in a soy broth and wife had âham and eggsâ both fantastic, although both lobster dishes were âcookedâ differently.l, all good. Then we had calamari x 2 and lobster parcel with an Asian feel, again lovely. Our mains, wife and daughter had lobster pie, lobster in a rich sauce with vegetables and pastry top. I went with the Gruber, succulent, fleshy and lovely trimmings. Finished off with 2 cheeseboards and 1 donut with âlobster toffee sauceâ and a honey sauce. The lobster toffee had a salty caramel taste which was unique. Drinks wise, a bottle of Paco and Lola Alberino, a small bottle of Sake (to go with my seafood!) and a port (to go with my cheese!). All in all $360 plus tip so itâs not cheap however, the ambience, service and food made it worthwhile. A special treat. I also learned a new fact from one of the other diners, South Carolina is the largest consumers of Grand Marnier in the world ð¤·ââï¸ My advice is to book the little Pearl as a special treat in your holiday, you wonât be disappointed.
