Barista would not add the sugar to our coffee kept saying “you can add it yourself”. Underwhelming customer service. Let’s see how the coffee is because im putting this review based on how horrible she treated us just now.Update:The coffee tasted great. I appreciate the response. Respectfully, if I wanted Starbucks I would’ve gone to Starbucks. Great coffee not so great customer service. Thank you, good day.
It’s hard to say what my favorite part is about this magical little spot on the island. I could say… the people, the coffee, the wine, the ambience, the friendly faces, or new ones that you meet along the way. It’s all magic, and the vibe is like no other. The Funky Rooster was a fantastic find! Delicious lattes and coffee, great selection of wine also. We enjoyed their quiche for breakfast one morning and one of their charcuterie boards with our wine one evening on the front porch. Both the inside and the front porch were comfortable and relaxing. We stopped here three or four times during our week in the area. Really nice owners and a very good place to relax and chat.
Fun find where we enjoyed a glass of wine and slice of key lime pie. We’d come back and enjoy another evening anytime!

My first Cuban coffee and Cubano breakfast sandwich which were excellent. The sandwich was so large - best to share. Eggs, cheese, ham, bacon, pork- wonderful. The coffee is mild, served with foamed milk, but order the large. The small one just isn’t enough and you’ll want a second.
I ate breakfast here almost every day in Key West. You must try the cheese grits with lobster meat. Delicious!

A little pricey, but that's not unusual for a resort town like this. The espresso is good, and the service is quick. The seating is comfortable and eclectic.
