Very bad business will rip you off. I have not been here in a while but being a conch for many years I know my way around and this place has been good in the past. They added 20% tip to the bill without telling me so I added my tip as usual and again they said nothing to me, well they got an 8 dollar tip on 25 dollars worth of food. The croquetas I ordered were empty inside just outside crust. The garlic for the tostones was burnt and tasted terrible. Anyway you get the point beware!!

My son found this restaraunt while we were in the keys on vacation. Definitely not a tourist joint but great, great Cuban food in a very relaxed environment. Laid back and only 2 or 3 people working in the joint but it was thoroughly enjoyable and the food felt like a Cuban nana cooking for you. If that is your vibe don't hesitate. If you are looking for polish above local and authentic maybe not for you.
Service was great and I really enjoyed the fresh made empanadas, they were awesome. I also had the Cubano sandwich, it was good but nothing special. Kids chicken strips were very tough. Would recommend.
I come here for coffee twice a week, sometimes more. Always been great. I decided to finally try the food with a friend and both get the ox tail stew for 13.50. Fine meal but on the way home realize theyve charged us both 22$ and we also left a hearty tip. Upon further investigation, they charge 25$ gratuity but don't make that very clear. But after doing the math they charged me near 50% gratuity without ever mentioning it. I was kinda hoping to become a regular here since it's near where I stay. But I'm finding a new spot to patron
Food was very good for the price point but overall the meat is a poor quality... The side dishes and everything else was very good... The price is cheap for key West. So I understand the quality of meat... But it was flavorful. All the sides were wonderful!!! Just need better carne raise the prices!!!!
What a great find. We, the four of us in our party, had a delicious lunch. We all chose different items. Really large portions. Our servers and host were so amenable. We enjoyed the food and service. Delicious.
Food was ok, Cuban pork special was dry and greasy at the same time, like it had been sitting in the steam table all day. Rice was good , beans were house made, but Moros with red beans, I dont think so.
The bacon egg and cheese was delicious!! Highly recommend
Pretty good portions for food. The fried chicken was a bit dry and I got way too much rice for one person but the flavors were good. I definitely recommend the beef empanadas!
