I wish I could rate them higher than 5/5. Eating here was one of the highlights of our 11-day trip to the Keys. The service, food and coffee were all fabulous. I miss it already and can’t wait to return. Do yourself a favor and go here!

The food and coffee at this place are very good. Really enjoyed them and even had small children who ate voraciously. The reception upon entry to the restaurant is less than hospitable. Service is slow. The woman who I assume is the Owner, eventually came around to speak to us and blow some smoke, but she already lost her sparkle for me when I saw how pretentious it was. We asked about where to speak as tables were small, were given no options and they acted as if we were bothering them even though there was only one other couple in the place who they focused all their attention on. Hopefully this owner can remedy the service issue because the food is good. Not saying I would not go back, but I would also consider other options.

The mojo pork bowl was amazing. A ton of food and some of the best pulled pork I’ve ever had in my life (I grew up in the South). The combo of salsa, avocado, meat, rice, beans, and fresh lettuce was delicious! My 1-year old loved the pork too! The service was phenomenal too. It is one of those places where you feel like family when you walk in and it’s just comfortable. We will definitely eat here again when we come back.

Deeeelicious Mexican Breakfast Bowl with shrimp! So fresh and tasty! My friend loved her cafe con leche and her breakfast sandwich with Cuban bread. I have food issues but had no problem finding something yummy and no reactions either! ;)

Amazing, authentic Cuban breakfast with cafe con leche. Terrific atmosphere, sweet staff. Top value- reasonable price.

One of the best, most flavorful meals I had in Key West (i feel like some of the Key West restaurants try to skate by on location and atmosphere as opposed to food). I got an ropa vieja arepa with an amazing chimichurri sauce and a guava/cheese empanada and both were DELICIOUS. I also had a cuban coffee with milk which was strong and tasty. The burrito next to me looked so good also. The cuban sandwich was so good. The customer service definitely was not good. The person taking orders and working the cash register seemed grumpy and unhappy. She was not pleasant. The food did take some time but it was super busy at lunchtime (11:30 am on a Thursday). Even with service, the food made up for it.

Key West Cuban Coffee has fantastic empanadas! I got the chicken which was seasoned well and served piping hot. I also had the guava cheese empanada which was so yummy and crispy! This authentic Cuban/Mexican restaurant is located just a couple of blocks from the Hemingway Home, so stop by after your tour.

This is the place to go to for excellent food in Key West. The dishes are consistently fresh and delicious ! The coffee is always perfectly made. The friendly service from Carolina and her employees should be a standard for anyone else in the restaurant business. Everyone who visits Key West should stop here for a meal.

i have never been so excited for a milkshake in my life, solely from the male worker who is so insanely enthusiastic, giving, and kind hearted. everything we needed (napkins, another straw, etc.) he was ready for and handed us. he gave amazing recommendations always followed with a sample. easily the best cafe.

Extensive menu, fantastic food, very friendly, great service. They have legit Cuban food but also offer a Mexican take on some items. It was so good we ate breakfast and came back for lunch. Sandwiches, bowls, wraps, tacos, empanadas, and burritos.
