Having lived in Key West for many year it's my first stop when I visit on vacation. They have an amazing selection of quality food from pizza, lasagna,wings salads and sandwiches. You have to try thier antipasto salad it is amazing with their homemade dressing! The staff its always friendly and great at helping me pair my entree with a great glass of wine!! If you want great quality food with a comfortable family atmosphere you have to stop by Big John's while in town. Also if you want to stay in and relax they have excellent delivery service!!
Friendly staff, great service, yummy pizza. Stopped in 5 minutes before closing and they gladly made a custom pizza for me, whining. Great selection of individual slices day and evening. Big John's is one of only three pizza joints I go to in Key West.
Absolutely great food. Pleasant place and very helpful staff. Anyone who loves Italian pizza like me will be really happy. I'm glad there are such restaurants. Thanks!
Called for dinner on a Saturday night spent $50 and received a piece of bread with garlic on it instead of getting the original garlic knots and then received a pizza with pepperonis thrown on top of it instead of cooked onto it. Thanks to the employees for being lazy and in a rush..
Ordered takeout. Friendly staff, food was ready promptly. I was impressed by how clean the restaurant was.The pizza was decent, if not a little bland, but we loved the garlic knots and mozza sticks. Spaghetti and meatballs were good. Would eat here again
Same as the persons review above mine reads. Don't know if they have new management in there but I ordered $50 worth of food, only to get a pizza with barely any toppings on it. I immediately called after opening the box. They answered the phone "HOLD" then laid the phone down. I watched my phone until I'd been listening to them for 5 minutes then I hung up, called back and the kid answered the phone and said hold, I said no. I explained that I just held for 5 minutes, he said they were short staffed. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited 5 more minutes. When he returned to the call, I explained that there were virtually no toppings on my meatlovers pizza. They told me to take a picture of the pizza then text it to them.They replied, "That's how it looks".I said that I'd ordered numerous times from them and that it's always been great but this one wasn't. They offered to give me a small discount first then after a out 10 text messages back and forth they offered me a small pizza. What a joke. I've been in F&B management for over 35 years and have never been treated like a chump like this.When I told them, I didn't want a small pizza because I ordered a large pizza, they told me that if I didn't want the small pizza that they wouldn't send it.Way to lose business in a time when building new customers is crucial!!!I hope I spark a bunch more to stay away from this place. Loved it but won't support bad management......
It used to be great. Tonight the pizza was a ball of under cooked doe and skimpy toppings. Save your doe!!
In on a Thursday night, the place was busy. They didn't have a "stuffed" thick cheese & pepperoni slice of pzza on their display. The cashier/hostess said she'd check with the kitchen, kitchen said they'd get it done. I appreciated that, and the order came to my table quickly. Quicker than I expected, busy as they were. The pizza slice, which cost $6, was burned on the bottom & crispy on top, but the shredded mozarella inside was not melted. The whole slice was too dry to swallow. Staff was friendly & accomodating, but order something other than a pizza slice that can't even be heated up right.
Worst place in Key West. My group placed two large orders to be picked up together but to be paid separately. On Arrival, they charged me for my friends order which was twice the price of mine. But we decided to just settle that mistake between us. They gave us the orders but upon arriving home, the only order included was my friends order. Our entire half of the order was missing. The restaurants response was woops. Total waste. It was 9 o’clock at night. My friends group was already eating and we couldn’t do anything but get a refund because they couldn’t make the missing food order for another 30 minutes. So by the time it was done, and I got it back to the house, the dinner would have been over and it was time to go. What a lousy restaurant!!!
Delicious soft and chewy crust. Pizza sauce perfect level. Cheese and pepperoni perfect! Warm, and kind delivery person.
