It’s what I had expected when I had seen it on the boardwalk. The atmosphere is the best part of the whole experience. Diana was extremely pleasant.

Our waitress was fantastic very attentive! The food I must say was just, ok!!

We loved this place and their signature dish. We will return but my fish was over cooked so I must remember to tell them not to overcook the grouper.

Wow extremely disappointed!! As we were seated we immediately noticed that AC system definitely had a problem , very hot and to add the table , floor and surroundings were not very clean , they need a major clean up for sure!! Then It took at least 15 minutes for our server to greet us , another at least 15 minutes more to get what I say was the worst margarita I have ever had , sent it back !! the seafood tower was brought to the table , what a horrible display of a wannabe tower , mediocre at best I regret ordering it . I don’t recommend this place at all, hope the get there act together, it’s a shame such a prime location , Many better restaurants than Alonzo’s that’s for sure !! Maybe I should have ordered a fish sandwich ???

Our anniversary and graduation trip was highlighted by a visit to Alonzo’s! VICTOR is amazing! Thanks for everything! We got the t shirts to prove it. 😉 🎣 🦪

Raw bar on point. Highly recommend

We finished a morning snorkel trip and we’re looking for something to eat. The salesperson in the gift shop is clearly a foodie and gave several recommendations. They should probably be a concierge. We decided to try Alonzo’s since it was close. It did not disappoint. Atmosphere: 8 or 9 It is a great location on the water. Walkable from where we caught the boat for snorkeling Tucked back at the end of the street. I am not sure we would have stumbled upon it without the recommendation. It would be nice to sit outside, but thankful to sit in the A/C and cool off. There was no live music when we were there. But I loved the music being played. It was all 80s hits. Service: 10 Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. My sister has to eat gluten free. The server made recommendations and suggestions for modifications. Food and Drink: 10 We had a couple of drinks on the way back from snorkeling so I did not have a drink at Alonzo’s. We shared the coconut shrimp. It had a nice crispy texture. It is served with Sweet chili sauce. I’d rather have a pineapple or mango sauce. I had the tuna nachos. They were hands down the best dish I had on vacation. Fried wontons topped with seaweed salad, tuna, sriracha aioli and wasabi. I asked for the wasabi on the side. I loved this dish so much that I tried ordering a version of it at other restaurants, but no one competes. The sriracha aioli and wasabi make the dish. Guest 2 had the coconut grouper which looked good. It was also their birthday. So we got a slice of Key Lime Pie. Thanks for the share forks. I really liked the fruit drizzle on it. Guest 3 had lobster Mac and Cheese. The Mac and cheese was nice and creamy. The lobster was a tail on the plate. I think my friend would have preferred it to already be mixed in. Guest 4 had a tuna poke bowl which was similar to the nachos but had rice and cucumber as well. Guest 5 has Celiac. (Gluten Free). They really wanted grouper but can’t do the fried coconut breading. The kitchen accommodated the dietary restrictions by making blackened grouper. Thank you for going out of the way to accommodate. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the Keys.

My hubby loved the oysters. He tried one of each and couldn't decide on a favorite. I had the Ahi Tuna Bowl and it was so delicious. Lots of times you will find the stringy parts in the tuna but this was top grade with only deliciousness. I would definitely order it again and again. Wels was our bartender and server and she was delightful. Made delicious drinks and had us all smiley the whole time we were there. Good job, Wels. Thank you for a great visit.

Wonderful seafood. Wonderful service.

After walking all day in the Keys and trying different venues, we decided to stop at Alonzo's for happy hour. It did not disappoint. The mussels Diablo was our favorite; great flavor. The baked oysters, fresh oysters of the day were good. The conch fritters were more like hush puppies. I thought the crab and shrimp dip was going to be good, but not much crab, didn't see any shrimp, just a bunch of onions, peppers and cheese. Hence minus the one star. Outdoor seating is available, chickens come in and out of the restaurant. So beware you may step into a little "surprise" while you're walking to the restroom if you're not looking at the floor. Other than that, Great happy hour menu, with regular portions for less cost.
