My choice for a good sub This sandwich shop has been in business for 40+ years. Quality meats and cheeses with fresh baked bread. Choose from a list hot or cold sandwiches, daily soup, sides and don't forget the refreshment. Party platters and 6' party subs available. Opens early and closes early.
This place has the best Italian hoagies in Florida. As close as I have found to how they are made back in Pennsylvania anyway. They also have a delicious chicken salad sandwich and pasta salad.
I loved my Chicken Gumbo soup and Italian sub sandwich so much today. The bread that the sandwiches are on is so light and easy to eat. I love the family atmosphere of all of the staff. It is so nice to know that this place has been open since the 1970's...since I started coming down. It's too bad it's taken me this long....but thanks to Jupiter Magazine for putting it in their restaurant section!
Been getting sandwiches there for almost all of my 50 years. They do a lot of prep to provide you with a very fresh sandwich.
I crave the subs from there! Italian is my go to.

This place started out as a small town, local sub shop 45+ years ago that is now very popular in town that's booming. The locals who love it, know the M.O. When you go there you treat them with respect and wait patiently! Because they have been making subs since before most of us were born. Their menu hasn't changed in years because that's how its always been and it works. If you want to be picky and have a million toppings go some place else. I've had just about every item on the menu and have never had a bad meal. Its always fresh and worth the price to support a local business.
If you remember when you were a kid in the 80's and you went to a sandwich shop, this is the experience you're getting. No nonsense, excellent sandwich making. Ladies behind the counter might come might come off as terse to some, but to others more seasoned in this setting know that they're just being objective. They got a job to do.I will be back.
Good subs - but AWFUL customer service. The attitude most of them give you while doing their job (of making you a sub) is rude. I always put up with it until the last time I was in - they refused to stamp my sub card. I got a large veggie sub. The total was a little over $7. They said 'veggies don't count'. The sub card clearly says:"Present this card to be stamped with each purchase of a sub or sandwich of $5.69 or more. When filled, it is good for a retail value of $7.50"It doesn't say 'veggie subs don't qualify'. If I got a small - and it was under $5.69 I would get it. But my total was over what the card clearly says is the threshold.Anyways, her attitude was the last straw for me. There are lots of other good sub shops around that will gladly make you a sub with a smile.I won't be going back.
I've been coming here since I was a teenager in the 80's. Best subs in JTown hands down!
