I’d give Mo a zero star if I could. Who is Mo you ask? The owner of this dump. For many years this was a win place that is until the Mo(ster) acquired it recently. His purchase has caused the place to go downhill in every way .. the food is gross over all and for what it is it’s costly. The Mo is probably one of the rudest restauranteurs I’ve met in 62 years of life. One glance at how he responds to unhappy clients on google reviews will give you the full picture of this man. Reviewers say he’s been mean to children and a few are unhappy with his treatment of pets. I found one review that the person felt his date was berated… sounds romantic. The bottom line believe the reviews that all say pretty much the same thing - owner is rude. In this day and age, we can’t allow hate to win. You speak with your wallets… send a message to Mo.
I have been going there for several months since NYC restaurant owner took over. Food for breakfast, lunch and dinner has been excellent and fairly priced. Also experienced excellent service. Full diverse menus with frequent specials. Steaks, fish, chicken, pasta and veggie dishes and more with soup and salad selections. The new owner “Mo” takes personal interest in every customer and their meals. The new Cafe Sole, with bar, outdoor and indoor seating is a very friendly and social establishment. A very welcome and needed watering hole and eatery in the area. Try it! Mo will not let you be disappointed.
Wish I could give it 6 stars because this place is amazing! we loved the food, the ambiance and the service was top notch. We tried the Mahi Mahi blackened and it was tender and full of flavor, easily one of the best I've ever had. Also we tried the branzino Greek style and this dish was also superb. We are in the area for 2 nights and decided to try this place out and will surely come back again. Also, the garlic bread with risotto is a must try!
I am so glad to live in the neighborhood so I can visit often. The Menu is very eclectic and the quality of Lunch and Dinner food is incredible and freshly cooked. However, the most important thing that matters to me is the incredible Customer Service from the owner as well as all the staff! This is what a real Cheers Bar and Restaurant should be! I'm very sad that I can't leave a 10 star review. That being said, I'm a chef and quite picky when it comes to dining out but Cafe Sole never ceases to amaze me. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The service staff is personable and extremely knowledgeable. They feature a few fresh soups daily and their weekend brunch is to die for. Also don't miss out on their 7 day a week happy hour. Best in town by far! Thanks for all you do Cafe Sole! I wish you many many more years of prosperity!
What a great find. Went to an afternoon gathering and met a couple there that we knew and they invited us to dinner. They recommended Cafe Sole’. We were greeted by a very calm gentleman that turned out to be the owner himself. I have worked in the restaurant business, which can be very stressful. Not sure how he remains so calm. We all tried something different and the experience was beyond expectations. We were very impressed with the food, the service and the prices. We live in West Palm Beach and will go out of our way to go again. Thanks Mo!
I love this place. I used to come for the lunch wraps all the time and finally made it to dinner. The Truffled lobster Mac and cheese is TO DIE FOR! Everything I've had from here is excellent. Friendly environment. Highly recommended.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS Absolutely horrible and such a disappointment. My family and I frequented this restaurant before it changed ownership and management. We took our family there today for lunch. Before we even sat down, the manager scolded our children and told them they had to be quiet. Mind you, we were sitting outside and the children were not really misbehaving. The waitress was unaccommodating and had a terribly negative attitude. They brought the kids' pizzas out without any plates napkins or silverware and gave us attitude when we asked for these items. It took more than 45 minutes for the adults' food to come out. We were nothing but patient and polite, and the manager eventually came over and scolded our kids a second time. When my 3.5 yo son had to use the restroom, the manager yelled at us inside the restaurant, kicked us out, refused to allow my son to go to the bathroom, and threatened to call the police. This man has a mental illness and should seek help. The food was also terrible. You can no longer expect grilled chicken in the sandwiches or a nice hearty meal. I'm so sad to see what has become of my former staple weekend lunch place.

Good service. Love that they had outdoor seating. All the food was delicious. Loved the soup variety. Great flavoring.
