Best pizza in town and music 7 nights a week!! Great food and awesome people…
this restaurant is a great, classic, family owned Italian restaurant. Its the kind that I grew up with. I'm a local musician that often plays there on Monday night open Mics. I've also been a lover of Italian food forever. Portions are always very generous and the prices are extraordinarily reasonable. I rarely eat out but because I play here, I've started to make it a habit to enjoy my dinner here as well on many a Monday night.
Our 3-generation family of 12 people visited for a pizza lunch mid-week in early April. While very busy, the staff shuffled tables and promptly took our order. Pizzas were brought to the table quickly, the food was excellent and service was outstanding. Will return on our next return to the area.
We've eaten from Angelo's twice in a week and were very happy both times. First time, we stopped in for Happy Hour and took home two meals: Fettuccine Alfredo and a Stromboli. The Fettuccine was enough to feed 3 people, good alfredo sauce, parmesan cheesy, and very rich. Pasta was cooked just past al dente. The stromboli with a Southern Italian red sauce was enough for 2 people. It is our kind of red sauce, simmered with spices, but not too much. My husband had the stromboli for dinner twice along with the sauce and garlic rolls! While at HH, my husband was told the Blackened Shrimp Spinach Gorgonzola salad was to die for. We returned later that week for him to try it. We were both amazed. The salad came with 7 large shrimp (not jumbo but definitely 3 bites each) for $14. Huge bowl of fresh spinach, gorgonzola cheese, black olives, etc. I had the Greek Salad which was delicious, better than our local Greek restaurant. A lot of feta cheese, both Kalamata and California black olives, cucumbers, red onion, tomatoes, pepperoncini, romaine lettuce and believe it or not 2 STUFFED GRAPE LEAVES! Delicious! We had the house Italian Vinaigrette with our salads, it has a fair amount of garlic. Service was wonderful, albeit the restaurant was pretty slow that day. We will return.
Service was great !! We go there every year we come to visit and the food there never disappoints. Love the Alla Vodka pasta and the pizza!!
They've been in business for 33 years and with good reason, their food is fantastic! This ex new Yorker is in love with the pizza but they have a great menu, people at our table had the scampi and ravioli and raved about them. Happy hour food specials daily and live entertainment. It's family owned and run and a very friendly, family vibe make this a go to place for food and fun.
Loved this place! They were very friendly, the food is wonderful and their early bird specials are served with a drink and desert at an excellent price! Will definitely eat here again.
Used to love this place, now they are very snooty. They did the add on and have some music, but now they think that they don't need to have manners. Very rude even if you make a reservation they want to stick you in the corner near the kitchen. I made the reservation right after they opened in the morning, it did not matter. Well, I will not be spending any money with them again. Too cool for school
This is one place to always enjoy a good Italian meal. In addition to meals they do offer Pizza, calzones, subs, and much more.. There is something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Come early... They offer a happy hour menu with drink specials. In addition to an early bird dinner menu.
Always good food. Great service. Reasonable prices. Music every night at 6. Our favorite neighborhood stop
