Food delivery was a little slower than usual but the waitress was nice and took care of us!
Had an awesome dinner. Our waitress was the one with dreads. Loved her. We were on the patio and she came out and said it's going to start raining I am setting up a table inside for you. Boy did it rain!!! Food was great, surrounding tables were great. Just a fun experience. Our second time there and can't wait to have more experiences there. Thanks!!!
Some ingredients are imported from Germany for their dishes . Food and beer at waterfront, Ashley was our server, busser and bartender ashley was super friendly attentive and took care of us on our visit. The food was good and the place was busy, I’m giving it 4 stars because parking is terrible. Plenty of outdoor seating with a good view of the causeway
Had a really good lunch on a beautiful breezy day!! Laura the bartender was friendly and we chit chatted. The german potato salad was probably best I've ever tried!! And the view was gorgeous!!
This may have been the worst dinner ever! Fish and Chips were basically fried mush. The fish tacos were colorless and tasteless. This was the first time trying The Hoffman….. we will not be going back. There are plenty of places that care about what’s coming out of their kitchen. Prices are high , and the quality is very low.
the food and the waitress. Both were excellent. First time schnitzel eaters. She explained everything real well and I can't think of her name. we sat outside facing the water and she sold me a bottle of your hot sauce which is also excellent
First impression was the outdoor tables were dirty, but the view was very nice. Unfortunately the smell of low tide created an unpleasant odor. We arrived at about 5:00 and found a table immediately, ordered drinks and our meal. Our wilted salads arrived about 15 minutes later. Over the next hour, a gentleman was seated as well as a party of 6. They were all served food within 10 minutes while my husband and I sat there for an hour. We asked another waitress to check on our order but no feedback was given. We finally got our disappointing dinner. My Bavarian Meatball was a lump of fried chopped meat with thick brown gravy. The spetzal had no flavor and there was no salt or pepper on the table, nor did anyone ask if we needed anything. My husbands schnitzel was equally bland and flavorless. I asked for a glass of water since I got some gravy on my sleeve but that never came. I finally walked to the car to get my water bottle when my husband told the waitress we were not at all happy with our experience…the waitress conveyed the manager’s apology but we will NOT be back.
The Hoffmann is a popular German restaurant on the river in Jensen Beach. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. Outdoor is best if the weather is nice. They have a nice selection of German beers and traditional German specialties – I had Weiner Schnitzel – very good. The service was friendly and efficient.
My mom always talks about this restaurant, but I don't get excited about German food for some reason, so I put off going there for years. On this visit to the area I decided to give it a try, and I am glad I did. We sat outside at a fantastic little table by the water. Our server was busy, but very friendly and helpful. My mom got her usual favorite, and I had a quesadilla with grilled veggies (I don't eat meat). We shared calamari to start, and it was delicious -- super tender. I also tried the cabbage and it was AMAZING!I would definitely go back. There were a few other things on the menu that were tempting me, and the vibe was exactly what I look for when I am dining in Jensen Beach.
We found this on Google search, we were thrilled to find an authentic German restaurant with outdoor seating. The restaurant did not disappoint, great view of the causeway, the beer was cold and the food was great!
