Stopped in for lunch and it was fantastic! Deli sandwiches that were exceptional! Server was polite, fast, and on her A-game. Highly recommended!!!
Fantastic food but a total dive. I’m not sure how to describe the inside other than part restaurant, part warehouse, part to-go deli. Food is what you are there for and it was awesome. Will go back without a doubt.
Very nice family felt diner. The food was great and the service was good too. You can tell this is a common spot for regulars. The waitress knew many guests by first name and greeted most with a hug. It was a great family environment. If you want a good meal and the feeling of family welcoming you home this is the restaurant for you.
Went here just about 30 minutes ago and ordered 2 Hot Subs. 1- Hot Italian, 1- Meatball supreme. Got home to began to eat, I was given the roast beef supreme. I drove 35 min to get there, came home with a disgusting sub I couldn’t eat. Very disappointing.
Got steak and cheese sub bread was burnt and sandwich was dry and grossI ordered to go and have never been inside before. This place is not a family place more like a bar and the girls obviously have no respect for themselves exposing so much skin by the way they are dressed. What a disgrace. Food and atmosphere? I will never go here again
Sorry to say that there was not one positive thing to say about my experience here. It's not a one star because technically I got what I ordered. They were severely short staffed and the staff they had were confused by how to take orders. For some reason they are still trying to wait on tables even with short staff. The food was sub par for the price. They are still taking orders by hand for some reason despite the existence of cheap POS systems. I hope they get their act together.
How have I not given Shakra's a 5 star review yet?!?!?!I started going to Shakra's when they were down at the roundabout on the back side of the old Jan's Place. That was 1998. Years later, I am still visiting at least once a week & sampling everything on their amazing menu. When I don't know what I want, I gravitate to an RBS and Spuds & Mud. If you're new to Shakra's, try the RBS. The Shakra family are wonderful people. Their love for their business and our community shines through. I highly recommend you go visit Shakra's and get hooked on the food and the people!
