Stopped at Olive Garden for lunch and had a wonderful experience. Located in Jensen Beach off U.S. 1, the restaurant was very clean and not crowded. Staff was super friendly and our server, Lilly, was very sweet and full of energy. She helped in setting the mood for a nice lunch.Started with minestrone soup and salad. The salad was very fresh and seasoned nicely. The minestrone (my favorite) was hot and filled with pasta, beans, tomatoes and squash. Next I indulged and had the calamari as an appetizer. Firm and white with a mild, nice little kick flavor. The sauces provided were excellent. For the main course I had the eggplant with a side of pasta. Nice size dish, with four perfectly sliced eggplant pieces that were fresh, tender and sweet. For drinks I had the berry sangria which was excellent.A great place for family and friends to enjoy nice Italian meals.
Service was rather slow. Got to the restaurant and got seated quickly. Server came and took my order. I immediately placed my order. Took forever for my drinks & the salad to come out !! Once it did I didn't have silverware. Had to wait another 5 minutes to start eating. I asked if i could get peppers in the salad and she says "Oh you want peppers ". Don't they come in there unless you request otherwise. So they didn't come out until I had finished that bowl and she brings me 3 in a little cup saying, these are all we have! The food finally came and I was so ready to go at that point! I like Olive Garden but the service I received at this location was sub par !
Arrived before 5pm and restaurant had only a few people at tables. But we were told by the 3 people working at the host/hostess desk that we had to sit down to wait for someone to get a table to be ready (Why couldn't one of them do it?). Couldn't understand why since hardly anyone dining. AND, what's to do but put silverware and a menu at each place. Start of dining experience was off to a rocky start. Ordering - Two members of our party had soup/salad. When the soup was served, each had barely a ladle full in their bowl, so the wait staff had to keep coming back to bring more soup. Wasting manpower. These seem to be basics with restaurant operation
One of the best Olive garden restaurants that I have been to in a while. The service was good but the food was excellent.
Really enjoyed the entire lunch. First time to try unlimited soup salad and bread sticks, waitress was spot on and gave me 3 different soups to try out. Very delicious and our friends both had pasta. Great time of day on Thursday lunch time was not busy at all.
Food is good. Last few times I was there however I took my food home, and after re-heating the leftover the next day I was amazed at home much oil and grease were on the bottom of the plater I put it on. It would be nice if they would offer some more healthy, lower fat dishes without so much oil mixed in it.
Last night I I ordered food for pick up, used a Christmas gift card! It had been SO Long Since I ate at this Restaurant. I was Very Pleased, with the delicious food, Large Servings & Cleanliness of Restaurant when I picked up! Definitely will be going back! & maybe next time dine inside: )**Olive Garden’s Italian Restaurant Competition, Which the Initials starts with a “C” Needs Training from The Olive Garden Staff!! ; )** Just saying!!Thank You Again OG, See Ya Soon!!!
Super fast to get seated, and get food. Service was great and food was amazing!
This afternoon my wife and I visited our local Olive Garden Restaurant on U.S. 1 in Jensen Beach for first time in almost two years due to COVID. What a change from previous visits! Menu items are expensive and now very limited. I ordered chicken parm which was over cooked and tasteless. The tiny amount of sauce on it and the spaghetti was also different. Even the endless salad bowl seemed to contain a smaller amount of salad. Our server did an good job trying to keep us happy. She was the only good thing we experienced there but sadly, we will not be returning.
We had an early dinner there and it exceeded our expectations. They still have the bottomless salad bowl which is what I look forward to having. I had the cheese ravioli as it was less than 1,000 calories. Husband had a 3 item platter and he could not finish it. ( rarely happens). Our adult daughter had Soup & salad. It was her birthday so she got a complementary dessert. She chose Tiramisu which we shared. It was scrumptious. All wait staff was friendly & efficient. There is an ability to pay at the table with some sort of tablet. That was a nice option. We tipped our server well and she deserved it. Our bill for 3 adults drinking no alcohol was less that $60.Staff wore masks & the place was clean.
