We stopped here for a quick lunch and we were very impressed with the restaurant. The atmosphere, the service, and flavor were all top shelf. We’ll be back.
I have been to this restaurant many times and the food is always fresh and delicious! I can highly recommend coming here for lunch or dinner. We had gyoza and several sushi rolls including the spicy tuna and dragon roll. Tonight our server Fenny was very friendly,attentive and wonderful! I will definitely be back soon and ask for her. ?
Best Chinese in St. John’s/South Jax. I agree with some of the reviews that the prices are a bit steep (in my opinion about $2 too high per entree), but in my mind there isn’t a better option so….. The owner is a stand up dude and is constantly in the restaurant working the crowd and making sure every guest is satisfied. They made a small mistake on my order once and he didn’t even flinch when making the right customer service decision.
This used to be our "go to" Chinese spot. After a few times of lower quality food and higher prices we found a few different places that are closer to the house. We would eat here pretty consistently, and we might try it out again (with hopes of better quality) in the future if we are down on 210 (but we wont go out of our way anymore).
Decided to try this place and food had a funny taste. Tasted refrigerated and funny plus shrimp had a rotten taste. The manager decided to still charge us even though we didn’t ate anything

I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that you charge for shrimp sauce for take out orders but not if the person dines in.I order 7 rolls of sushi. 1 shrimp sauce is not going to offset your food supply cost.Never ordering here again. There are much better sushi spots on 210 with less greedy tactics.
Yummy Asian Bistro is overpriced in my opinion. They are the only sushi place within a couple miles and it feels like they could use some competition. My wife didnt have a problem with her sushi but I ordered their Pad Thai and it was not pad thai. It seems like it was missing some curry flavor and tasted more like generic chinese food dish rather than really good pad thai found in other places at the same or lower price. I encourage you to drive to any other thai food or sushi place along old st augustine road instead of settling for this place.
This place is the best. This is my husband and my absolute favorite place to go for sushi. We have eaten all around Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and the Saint Johns area and this is by far our first choice. The food is amazing every time and the service is even better. The family that owns Yummy are the absolute sweetest and they genuinely care about providing an amazing experience for everyone who walks in. We are lucky to have such a gem right in the neighborhood!
I read the positive reviews and tried this place. When I arrived to pick up my order it was pretty busy which I took as a good sign.This is top 3 worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. Wonton soup tasted funny, crispy noodles were stale, the sweet and sour sauce for the chicken was watery and tasted like cough syrup. Kung Pao chicken, pad Thai..... Not a good meal in the bag. Normally I give a place a couple tries to be fair about a bad meal but this is not redeemable. The only thing that was half way ok was the egg roll.Sorry Yummy Bistro, the people helping are very nice and I wanted to like it. Maybe its just the sushi people like here? I don't get it.
