I only order the chicken lunch ($15) plate when I visit. Tender fire grilled boneless chicken breasts. All sides and pita are just as delicious. Very filling lunch plate. I have always experienced the young staff or owner coming to ask if everything is okay. Well air conditioned. Clean eating area. Polite staff. Although price points are higher than what I am used to, I will always come here when I can.
To the extreme worst and most gouging restaurants you can see. Fist of all you order the food “hummus plate” then they bring you one or two small breads. You order more you will pay 3x the hummus plate cost. You order hot sauce and more bread you pay $15.00!! You shut down the AC to reduce you electric bill and you don’t reduce your food prices! If you continue to shut down the AC in the dining area are you shutting down the kitchen coolers at night?
Great food, but this is the last visit for our regular group. They started adding 4% tp each item if you pay by credit card. No thank-you!Thank-you for responding. We DO pay attention when we pay, since our group dines out regularly. This is only the second restaurant where we've come across this. You would be much better off setting your prices higher on the menu, then offering a discount for cash. However it's your business and we wish you luck. Thank-you.
Best falafel in town!! I also love their chicken swarma. I crave this spot almost once a month through drive through. Staff is friendly and food comes through quick. They also have a drive through
It’s been longtime I had full satisfaction while eating the food. Kudos to chef !!!! We ordered lamb chops and chicken kabob. That’s so delicious and we finished our food completely with big smile on our face.I highly recommend this place.
Authentic Fresh Greek cuisine. Don't be thrown off by the few customers you'll see, this place is great. The food and service was on point. I'm not sure about what was going on with the service a year ago but, apparently they fixed that issue. The young man behind the register is the friendliest guy...Great spot
My family and I have been coming to Yafa for a few years now and have always been satisfied. The food is delicious and made in a clean environment. Each menu item, even side dishes, are amazing and made super fresh. One of my go-to restaurants and highly recommend people to check it out if you want to try home-style middle eastern/mediterranean food.
Please try the chicken kabab dinner. Mouthwatering, fresh & tender skewers made with minced chicken. It’s a humble looking spot but serves honest, finger-licking food!!
Very disappointed in my visit. I'm usually in Jax for work once a month, and I'm debating if I'll go back to Yafa the next time I'm in town. Food tonight was absolutely disgusting, I went in close to closing time and maybe that's why I got day old dry rice, stale mushy salad and two table spoons of rice, the serving portion was small, maybe they ran out. But I feel like this time Yafa robbed me, if the food wasn't fresh they should not sell it. This money is haram on you. Hope you are satisfied. And hopefully you don't serve your filth any longer, Inshallah hope you're out of business soon.
I wish I had five more stars to give this restaurant. My dinner was deliciously made and I enjoyed every flavorful bite. We dined in and the restaurant itself is clean, simple, and welcoming like a home. Speaking of home, this meal was akin to eating at my Mama's house. Absolutely the best Mediterranean Food in Jacksonville.
