Went there with my daughter for lunch the other day, and we weren't sure what to expect before we got there. (We've had our share of not authentic Middle Eastern food!) Their menus are easy to read and they offer most of the traditional Middle Eastern dishes one might want - falafel, shwarma (chicken or beef), kebabs (beef or chicken), etc. We ordered one beef shwarma and one chicken shwarma as wraps. They come wrapped in a pita, and when we asked them if they could put them IN the pita (traditional style) they were happy to do that for us. We upgraded our wraps to platters to get their Yafa salad (tomatoes, cucumbers in a Mediterranean dressing), pickled red cabbage and yellow cabbage, as well as pickles and yellow rice. The meats were well seasoned and NOT overcooked. The cabbage was perfectly pickled and still crunchy. The rice was well cooked-not hard and not mushy. The salad was well chilled and delicious. Overall we were very happy with the food and look forward to eating here again soon.

Some of the best Arabic food around jax! They have gone down in quality recently but its managed by great people and the food is still good.
Yafa is one of my favorite restaurants in Jacksonville. Every so often I get a craving for delicious, fresh mediterranean food and Yafa is where I take it. From the outside glance, one may not have the highest expectations. However, the food they serve is exceptional and rests perfectly at the crossroads where home-cooking and ethnic dining should meet.
This is an interesting Eastern Mediterranean restaurant, mostly Israel or Lebanesei, with friendly staff, delicious food, and a pleasant atmosphere in the middle of No Where on St. Johns Bluff Road. If you are anywhere nearby, this place is worth a drive.
We've eaten here many times and they are excellent every time. We love it so much my husband keeps thinking our good luck will run out. But, we are always pleased.
The staff is fun and friendly as soon as I walked in . The food was so delicious! You get a lot for your money. Definitely somewhere to try out for sure .
