This was a $17 plate of ribs‼️ 4 bones that were about 6 to 8 inches long and over-cooked. Ordered on UberEats and they didn’t send sauce. Also ordered a $13 chicken plate that was equally unimpressive. Don’t waste your time or money. I will never disrespect my hard-earned money like this again ?
The baked potatoes were over cooked or held much longer than the shelf life. Inedible. The baked beans were rancid. Beef brisket dry as was the chicken. The pork was actually good.
Great Lunch Spot... The Staff is friendly and the service is quick. It is nice to be able to just walk-in sit at the counter and get in and out quickly. The Food is always great would recommend the Brisket Salad or the Half a Chicken... they are my Go To lunch items.

Currently an Human Resource Administrator.I was seeking out a meal for our staff of 50. So I was originally in the drive through at KFC. I said hey I will grab food from here for our Staff.But soon as I saw the Woody's Bar-B-Q sign, I got Extremely Excited. I said I always wanted to support this Business I heard Wonderful things about their Food.So I speed out of the KFC, line thinking wow our Staff will get a Super Great Treat to Eat Today !!!!So after waiting in the Drive Thru I was so excited I pulled the Menu up on my phone so I could purchase approximately $950.00 worth of Food for our Staff.Then I Heard through the Loud Speaker,"We Are No Longer Taking Orders Through The Drive Thru "I said Hello, Hello This is my First Time Here " Did I do something wrong ?Silence, NO RESPONSE.I said Hello, HelloSilence, No RESPONSEThen the person comes on and says,"We Are No Longer Taking Orders Through The Drive Thru "By this time, I google the Restaurant phone number, because the person did not say, hey this is the problem, or Please Come Inside To Order or Anything.So I called the Restaurant and ask for the Manager as I am sitting in the Drive Thru.A Young Lady answer's and I say please can I speak with the Manager.She states I AM THE MANAGER. I said I am sitting in the Drive Thru this is my First Time here at your Restaurant.Someone said that your no longer taking orders in the Drive Thru and I have been sitting behind the 1 other car that was here.She said YEAH THAT'S WHY I SAID WE ARE NOT TAKING ANY MORE ORDERS IN THE DRIVE THRU !I said well would you mind telling me Why, or What happened.Oh well it's flooded over there so that's why , then SILENCE.I paused just to give her the opportunity to say, Welcome First Time Customer or Come Inside we Would Love to Take Your Order.But what I got was SILENCE.So I said Thank You I will Leave a Review and hung up.This Young Lady was so Rude and This Interaction could have went a whole other way.She could have just said come in and Order or Hey we are experiencing some issues, please order inside.But JUST YELLING "We Are No Longer Taking Orders Through The Drive Thru "No Explanation, Then as I talked to the Speaker - She Gave No ResponsesI advised I was a NEW CUSTOMER, that Obviously DID NOT MATTER.Well, I went and spent our Companies $950.00 at another Restaurant that was more than Happy To Serve US.I really hope the Owner's understand how Awful this Experience was and for Absolutely No Reason.Sadly I will never get to experience all the Years of Hard Work The Owner's put into this Business for the Community.Sadly I didn't get to spend the $950.00 Supporting this Business and had to spend it with another Food Establishment.Well in closing,"We Are No Longer Taking Orders Through The Drive Thru" I guess this is the New Slogan for Woody's Bar-B-Q,This is so sad that Manager's caused this type of situation and have no Loyalty to the Owner's Hard Work and Legacy.
Well... finally got both my girls my son and fiance together for dinner and decided to come here. I'll start by saying I love woodys. I worked at the st augustine location for the crews Brothers for a while and loved my job and the food.The entire experience tonight is completely aggravating. I have a 3 year old son who is hungry and has waited 45 minutes for food.We sat ourselves, then when the waitress finally noticed us we got drinks but not the drinks we ordered. Fiance wanted beer but waitress couldn't change tap or find anyone who could. Then we waited another 20 minutes for her to take the order only to wait 40 for the food. The explanation was the cook is new on the fast shift..No... the shift isn't fast.. its barely busy. It looks like every employee in here has no idea what's going on. The waitress could have smoothed things over by offering fries or crackers or hell, even stopping to check-in with us more than twice. We ended up leaving without eating which has infuriated me. I'm a people person and as a waitress your personality shouldn't be so..... stale...its probably just due to them being flabbergasted on this "busy" shift but I am never coming back here again.
Haven't been here in years and i must admit the taste/recipe had changed for the baked beans that i used to love.. chicken was dry ... overall only enjoyed the ribs
Good bbq but sauces are nothing to write home about. Collards are excellent (infinitely better than Bono's). Quality of ribs is good. Beans are ok, can be helped by adding a bit of BBQ sauce. Texas toast is nice. Servers move fast. Better than Bono's but that is not saying to much. On a bbq scale of 1 to 10 nationwide it's a 71/2.
Myself in my family went and enjoyed a wonderful meal. The beef loin was between medium and medium rare which was perfect the turkey was dead on not dry. My husband's pork was very juicy. The homemade fried squash was so good and it's just something you can't find anywhere else. The tea was very fresh our server Teresa was amazing. The cutter I believe her name is Allie did an amazing job. We will definitely be back soon.
The food at Woody's BBQ was great, Theresa was very nice and the BBQ Ribs we're excellent. Highly recommended!
I stopped in for lunch today and really enjoyed my meal. The corn nuggets were fantastic and the baby backs were on point. Our server Theresa was attentive and friendly. As corporate chain restaurants dominate the area, it’s important to support the smaller regional businesses like Woody’s. I want to try the prime rib next time!
