It’s so delicious, but they are very skimpy with mix ins. The other day, both my husband and I had only two cookie dough pieces in our entire cups of “cookie monster”. It seems to be this way everytime we come.
So delicious we visited almost everyday while staying in Jacksonville. Flavor of the day is always fun but make sure you check the calendar online. Just remember that they only have chocolate, vanilla, and one other flavor. Mix-ins are perfect to make your own Whitser and I loved the Whitties (ice cream and cookie sandwiches)
5 Stars to the manager Beanie Miller. Excellent service and hospitable environment. She was so kind, talkative, and cares about the store as well as every single customer that walks in. Whits is the best custard store in Avondale, let alone Jax. Will be coming back !!

The custard was amazing!! But specifically so was the service. The employee that helped me was named Andy and he made my experience at Whit’s unforgettable. He was prompt and respectful. I will surely be back soon for the great service and great custard.
My go-to ice cream spot. Highly suggest you access their Facebook page to get the flavor of the day. If you miss the flavor of the day, they might have leftover containers for sale in the freezer. The only issue is finding parking.
