Stopped in because of the reviews. The appetizer was great. But both my wife and I had ordered the Fish & Chips. The fish was way over done. So over done I was surprised they even served it. My piece was actually burnt on the end. And the fries were dark and chewy as if they had been re-heated many times. Very sad indeed when compared to the reviews. On a positive note, we were not charged for either dinner.
If there were 500* our server Izzy would get every one!! We had a party of 7 and she got everything perfect! She also labeled and put the date on each box of leftovers. She is definitely the best server we have ever had- sweet and caring too. If you go here and get her for your server you will have an amazing experience. The food was spot on and every bite was perfect.
Great atmosphere, music, crowd and service. Apps and drinks are fantastic with fast service. Only issues we had were that the French Dip bread was soggy and the au jus did not taste right. The chicken plate had a bit of a tough texture. However, this is a place to try for a laid back and friendly crowd.
Sunday Sessions music shows from 7-10pm EVERY Sunday evening are AMAZING!
My husband took me here for date night and to be honest I was offended. It was dark and outdated.. Once we were seated the server came and took our drink order, then our dinner order.. she was very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. I had the mango salmon and my husband had the cod. They were both plated beautifully and were cooked to perfection. Will go back again with alot less judgement
I can’t say enough good things about our experience. I brought in a very large group, and the waitress and all the people who helped us were so kind, patient, and welcoming. Karmen, we really appreciate you! We loved it!
Had the fish and chips with Duke’s Cold Nose Brown Ale. Was quick and delicious with a huge piece of fish.
We have gone on several occasions for brunch on Sundays. The food is amazing! I recommend the fried greens tomatoes, blue cheese chips and egg rolls! Yummmmm! Staff is always awesome!
Last Sunday afternoon we met out friends there who were on their way back to North Carolina. We brought our Golden Retriever as we planned to dine outside. They set up a table for 5 and that's when we met the best server we've ever had anywhere, Karmen! To go further than to say she treated us like we were her only customers, it almost felt like we were being served by part of our family. She was just awesome in every way. She even loved on our dog and brought her water (Cleo liked her too). The servers have always been very good at WJ, but would recommend that Karmen be included in the training of anyone new. That said, I think what we experienced was just the awesomeness of Karmen. It's not so much her training, I think we just met a wonderful human being who happened to be our server. And the food was great too! Looking forward to retuning again and again!
Food was good, service was a bit slow. I understand they were setting up for the live show that night, but waiting over 7 minutes with a empty glass, and over 10 minutes for the check was disappointing. First time there and probably the last unfortunately as there was nothing wow about the experience. Good luck to yall
