This has to be the dirtiest restaurant in Jacksonville. Every table had not been bussed. The staff was so busy carrying on a personal conversation we had to wait to get service. The waitress told us to hurry it up because she was off duty in 10 minutes. If it wasn't that we were visiting Jacksonville and didn't know where else to go we would have left. Run, don't walk to the nearest exit on this place.
I had just gotten off work at 4:30 am and was a little angry that the pancake hop was closed, but the young lady at Waffle house at the time was so refreshing and friendly that I believe I enjoyed the steak and eggs more because of her, even though I ordered it to go and ate at home. Her name was Angel (how ironic is that?!). ☺️
It was my first time being there and I loved the waffles with peanut butter chips. I didn't try anything else, but at least it's a good place for trying waffles.
Service was goodFood was very good, maybe the best hash browns anywhere. Most places you get them half raw or mostly burnt. Here the are always perfect.
Can always go for a waffle, scrambled~eggs w/ cheese, a double~order of hash~browns & some raisin~toast w/ apple~butter! Yum!!Those hash~browns really hit the spot, they hooked 'em up!!!
Never again. Nothing like them adding extra charges then trying to make it make sense while charging you an additional when you ordered it to begin with. The menus say one price but they say they charge more. Rip off. Plus 45 minute wait. I walked in to order to go but they took people who sat down order first.
Janelle and Angel were so upbeat and positive! They were working hard and smiling and the service was amazing! We took 7 teenage girls (including birthday girls) and Angel interacted with them and made them laugh and smile the whole time. The teens wanted to go to Waffle House and the first two we went to were packed. So glad we ended up at this one on our third try. They made our teens have a fabulous night.
Food was delicious! Vibes were great. Music was on point and this is the BEST Waffle House experience I had EVER HAD! Thank you all so much for your great customer service and positive energy. Cook absolutely killed it on the flat top! Food was HOT, READY, and DELISH!If you're looking for a good spot to eat! This is it right here! You all take care and be blessed.
The grits were lumpy and watery .They tasted sour. Every good southerner knows to make them grits thick. And take that wire wish and beat them out. The omelette was flat clearly not whipped property. It looked nasty.The bacon half cooked. Don't eat here.
We came here on a Sat night at midnight. The music was unpleasantly blasting, when we asked to turn the music down she replied with "this is how we roll." It was so cold inside we could see our own breathes (not exaggerating) and the windows were all fogged up. We ended up getting our order to go.
