One of our favorite bars in Jacksonville, we come all the time and have always had a great experience. Beer is great, staff is friendly and always quick with the pours. John (the bar manager) takes great care of us every time and even showed a very drunk customer the door when they were harrassing our table. Go Friday nights for live music!

Good small bar that dedicates to the Vets. Only complaint is if you have Kristen, then you might have good or bad service depending on if she likes you or not. Very disrespectful toward me, I never have that when Kennedi or John is there.
Had a great time getting a beer & chillin'. Board games galore for when you want to add some competition to the night. I love nostalgia so them having old war photos is such a cool idea when you want to appreciate the brave men & women who fought for this country.
I never heard of this place until yesterday. We had a hail and bail for a service member transferring. Walking in you can feel the pride. The staff were friendly, nice and very patient. He took time to explain the different beers and if you weren’t sure about a flavor you could sample before committing… I will most definitely swing back by here. Thank you all for what you do!!
Really enjoyed the beers, had a flight so tasted a number. The Cup of Joe is a great beer as well as the Fish Camp pils. I enjoyed the place for sure.
Fun place with lots of indoor space to have a quiet drink, or a noisy one with your friends. And if you feel so inclined, they have an outdoor seating area too.
Best IPAs in Jacksonville! VU is easily overlooked because it is off the beaten path, but this bar is truly a local legend.
