Overview: I have eaten here so many times. And every time, the food has been great. Twice we have ordered platters for fathers day, and twice it was more than enough. The food has always been tender and well cooked. Highly recommend. What to know: The best way to get there from Normandy is to cut through the gas station. Then a left turn, and it's on the left. So if you are doing a big platter, I would call it in. The seating is less than ideal, but the tables are big picnic-style so that a good-sized group will be ok. If you are flying in for a quick stop, it's not far from the FBO
Yummy? I haven't had ribs & beef this fall of the bone juicy & flavorful in a looooong long time. My first time here & I will definitely be returning. Bravo? Tremendous ?
Great food. Small little restaurant. There is crowd at noon but slows down after that. The brisket is excellent. The baked beans stand out as well.
We got takeout from this restaurant and wow were we impressed with the portions and the quality. The chicken was delicious, the ribs were tender, the Brunswick soup was excellent and the sides, collard greens and cole slaw were great. I really recommend this restaurant. Excellent all the way around.
Excellent service and great tasting food. There ribs were fall off the bone. Definitely recommend eating here. It's a small place but very clean and organized. Good job guys
Great BBQ, I would give them a 5 star but the fryer is always broken and they don’t have French fries most of the time. I’ve gotta have fries with my bbq so I have found other good places.. hopefully they will get a new fryer.
Food was excellent & portions are generous! This place is an authentic BBQ joint that we would definitely recommend! The yummy smoker aroma fills the room when you walk in. Best collard greens ever! I'm very picky about my greens. I'm so sick of getting greens that taste like vinegar, these had just the right amount of spice & flavor. Loved them! Coleslaw & brisket were perfect as well. My son had the pulled pork cheese fries - they should disclose that this portion is HUGE & should be shared! My 5 year old had the kids' sliced turkey w/baked beans. The turkey was perfectly moist. And my picky 12 year old had the pulled pork & almost cleaned her plate. If you love BBQ & are in the area, definitely check this place out!
Some food is good, but you have to figure out the right time to get there. Lunch pulled pork sandwich during lunch time... My mistake. Too much fat through the sandwich and hardly any meat. Other than that, not too bad.
We stopped in for a quick eat and believe me we were not disappointed, this place has some amazing bbq and the price is also reasonable. The brisket was nice and tender, the beans perfectly sweet and everything was just delicious.
