I enjoyed my lunch @TimWah Dim Sum. I am used to dim sum from Hong Kong, San Francisco, Virginia Beach, and occassionally NYC; so I found their dim sum tasty but a little sweeter than to which I am accustomed - nothing wrong, just a bit different. If you like dim sum, I encourage you to visit TimWah and try their food; and if you've never tried dim sum, you dont know what you're missing - go there and experience dim sum, I feel certain you will enjoy it.

We tried 12 different dishes and all were delicious! The surprising favorites were the turnip cake, the sticky rice, and the Kitty Cat Tato buns. The service was great and the staff was friendly. We will definitely be going back, the best Dim Sum I've had!

The best dim sum I had so far in north fl. Loved their mango mochi, I prefer having them in the restaurant because the cream filling inside will melt, tbh just eat everything in the restaurant, don’t do takeouts with dimsum.

Very good dim sum. Love their shrimp dumplings, fried sticky dumpling and sticky rice.

This was my first time eating Dim Sum! I enjoyed the adventure and even my daughter tried some new food! (She loved the piggies and pineapple bread along with her customary plain white rice.) I didn’t try any meat, but did have some shrimp dishes. The shrimp fried rice was yummy and I think the bok choy (steamed vegetables) was my favorite dish. The egg lava dumplings were more sweet and custardy than the undercooked egg slime that I was imagining (phew!) We tried the turnip cake, and I even forgot what it was while trying it because it wasn’t at all what I expected but it was good. I don’t think I like the red bean paste inside the piggies, but that’s just personal preference. The waiter was helpful with explaining what was inside all the dishes that we asked about (stuffed tofu has shrimp in it, etc.) There are only names and pictures of the dishes on the menu, so you will need to ask! The printed menu (think sushi menu) is where you write a number for each dish that you want. There are GF and V marked on the printed menu to help with your diet restrictions. The hot jasmine tea was a great accompaniment to the meal. Nothing was spicy except for the spicy sauce- but all sauces are in separate containers. A great experience for us!

One of the best meals of my life. My only regret is not finding this place sooner. Chicken and cabbage dumplings, steamed pork bun, shrimp shumi is what I got. Get a pot of green tea too. I will be back very soon.

After all the great reviews, I expected something slightly better, but it seems like Covid really changed this place. We came on a Sunday, no wait to get in. They no longer have the carts and it seems like they cut out many items from their menu. Food quality was good but nothing extraordinary, the piggie red bean buns and kitty taro buns were a cute touch. Service was friendly. Prices were reasonable.

This is a great dim sum place when we visit family in Jacksonville. It’s a small place so we had to wait for a table as we were a big party. There was a very big party that refuse to leave for over an extra after eating and that really back up the tables. So waiting can be hit or miss. We did preorder, so the order came very quickly after we sat down.

Probably the best dimsum I've ever had in Florida. The highlight of our meal was the fried pork dumpling. Crispy on the outside and soft and chewy in the middle with tender pork bits on the inside! 2nd was the sesame balls. They were crispy on the outside too and soft and delicate on the inside. Delicious! The shrimp hargow and shumai were also really good! In short, this is my favorite dimsum place and will definitely be back soon!

After researching dimsum restaurants around South GA for my birthday, I decided to try TimWah based on reviews and social media (IG)(and it’s pretty close to Savannah) so we drove two hours and it did not disappoint! The food came out hot and delicious each time and the cook/food runner was super friendly !!!I definitely recommend the fried shrimp balls, those were the highlight of our meal(didn’t get a pic, it was too good!)
