Food is delicious every time I come in. Even during busy lunch and dinner rush the food typically comes out pretty quickly. I like the decorations and all of the celebrity pictures and whatnot. I'm not big on hot sauces but there really have a large selection of different sauces at a little bar. There's also some outdoor seating which is nice too.

They were pretty good for my first visit. I just didn't like the fact that when I got one of their big burritos, it had just plain white rice in it instead of some type of seasoned rice.

My wife dropped by to place an order to go. She arrived at 5:25 PM and there were 2 tables currently seated. She placed her order at 5:30 PM and finally received her order at 6:30. She inquired several times and was told her order was lost originally and then it was additional excuses from there. An offer of free chips and salsa is insulting when you wait for an order which should take 20 minutes tops. The store was fully staffed and not busy, so it’s not about a staff shortage. In these situations you really just want some empathy and caring by the staff which was not there. I was waiting at the airport for my wife to pick me up from a trip and told her to get her money back and leave. She was continuously told it would be right out for more than 40 minutes after it was supposedly lost. The experience was poor at best and I just want them to improve so the experience does not get repeated for others. The general manager is David Scott who was not in. David ultimately has to own the training and development of the staff. David please tell me you care and share a time we can speak live and we’ll be back. I’ll also write a review with a summary of our conversation letting folks know you care and the customer experience. Otherwise I would not recommend your location . Bill Magee

I was so sad that they have changed so much about the food and the menu. Our server was amazing and attentive an absolute joy. The food is mediocre at best anymore I used to love everything about this place now I'm just disappointed........come on covid is over go back to the old way and the story of how y'all started made it such a fun place now it's just like any corporate owned place that has sold out to greed and mediocrity due to covid!!!!????I want the old Tijuana Flats back.????

I have used this location for catering to my customers in the area a few times in the past. The food is always good and the customer servce is great. Nothing againest this store but maybe the manager or franchise owner can get this corrected. The corprate catering customer service never called me back to set up delivery. So I had to go and pick it up myslef which was kind of a inconviounce because I had to drive three hours to deliver it and three hours back to my office. Hopfully they can get this corrected.

Food was ok nothing special, barely Mexican though and they charge for salsa. Felt way too hipster of a place to be Mexican food and we came in at 4pm not busy at all and none of the tables had been wiped down from lunch and bathroom was pretty gross. Lots of hot sauces to try if that's your thing but only one type of salsa and again they charge $1.50 for a small serving of it.

Unfortunately the guacamole did not taste fresh at all, it had that very bitter store-bought preservative flavor. You know, the stuff that comes in a bag ? I ordered a side of it and put it on my salad and the bitter guacamole taste ruined my entire salad so I couldn’t eat it. I even tried putting lots of hot sauce on it and couldn’t get past the bitter store bought guacamole. Bummer…

My original visit was not great, but the assistant general manager Christian is the reason I am rating it a 5. During my first visit at the airport location it was not awful, but I waited over 45 minutes for food, which I would have understood if the employees were not standing around on their cell phones eating a drinking while packing up customers food and when asked for an ETA on my orders i was told 2 minutes which resulted in more than 2 minutes and my first order was just sitting on the rack for well over 40 minutes and no one addressed it until I ask for a refund. Even though I didnt have a great experience, I called the next day and spoke with Christian ( who is amazing) and he took care of everything for me and the food Was amazing.

This place in South Florida was amazing but this visit today was pretty bad. It was my fiance first time and she isnt impressed. The salsa and guacamole was extremely bland and the chips smelled of armpits. Like actual armpits. Like I thought someone had put the chips under their pits. It was so bad. The manager also didn't come to speak with us about the salsa or anything. I've worked and still work in the food industry and the lack of care from him was rather upsetting. The food however was fresh and the sauces were delightful as usual. Would not visit this Tijuana Flats again but I will try to take my fiance to another location.

Honestly I love the food here but after today I will never eat here again. To be honest the young lady was probably 100 percent oblivious to what she did, but its very uncomfortable to watch all the customers that were enduring the same long wait time as me be checked on (given refills on chips and drinks) but me and one other customer. We also happen to be the only black customers in the restaurant at the time and I tried to give the benefit of the doubt cas I’ve never really experienced anything like this but moments later the same young lady drops off my food and dashes off before I could even open my mouth to request anything then drop of food to couple next me and asked them if they needed anytime additional. It wasn’t till many moments later that another employee came from the back and asked me if I needed anything. It could’ve just been my head but it didn’t feel like it
