First time eating Tijuana Flats and also the first time at the Roosevelt Blvd location. The cashier was so kind and sweet.I ordered kids tacos and I thought it was a bit pricey at 6.99 for just one taco. (Chipotle offers two tacos with chips and a drink for less.) I also placed two other orders and specifically asked for “no spicy mayo and no creams.” Both dishes came out with it on. Disappointing, because I could’ve really enjoyed the meal. Also, it would be great if the dining room can be equipped with a garbage can. If something spilled or I got something on the table, I wouldn’t want to wait to have the cashier throw it away or clean it up for me.
I didn't really care for the food overall. The flautas were greasy and not very flavorful. The queso was good though. The restaurant was clean.
Beef and bean flautas = bean only.Apparently if you order for delivery and put it the instructions that the address is on base, that info gets ignored and you get a call from an irritated doordash driver who now has to wait for you to come off base and get your food..almost like it’s not delivery….
Staff at the location in Fleming Island is always polite. They work pretty quickly and they're attentive to your needs. Food is always on point and they have a new shrimp bowl and shrimp taco that are really outstanding.
Service time varies. Very short staffed so I can't really complain. Food quality is quite good and staff is friendly.
Came in and placed a to go order which took almost 40 minutes in a practically empty restaurant. I paid the upcharge for rice and beans over $3 and didn’t receive them. If you order to go make sure to check that you’re getting what you paid for.
Store was very clean and workers were very friendly ....food was hot and freshly made ....the music was a little loud but other than that I had a very pleasant experience and will definitely go back..
The food I selected was amazing. I was impressed by the thorough service. It took time for the food to cook but someone was always giving us an update.
It had been a year or something since I last was there. The Monday staff wasn't on their game. First, they served someone that came in after us before us. Then, when we got our order, they forgot the most important part: the two giant queso and chips! They seemed out of it and unwilling to engage in eye contact but they had enough staff. They weren't rude or anything but they did mess up our order while we could see the crew goofing off in the back and standing around, and the order wasn't even that big. I check my food before I leave so didn't have to come back or complain at least, but it probably will be another year or two before I try this location again. Sad too because its the closest one to my house but not my work.Tldr: eh service, staff needs gentle guidance on where to goof off, and a little focus and teamwork
We love going here. The steak nachos are my favorite. Their spicy salsa is a big hit. I’m not usually a fan of yellow queso, but their’s is actually really good.
