Placed a to-go order and waited 45 minutes. The order had been sitting in a corner and no one called out my name. I finally said something to the person behind the counter. A lady behind me said check your order because this place is going down hill and nobody knows what they are doing. I checked my order and it was cold and the bean flautas had no beans in it and the beef flautas were all dried up. I asked for my money back and they said it would take 48 hours! Nothing like I am so sorry. I will never go back there again.
I didn't expect much so I wasn't terribly disappointed. Not much here to brag about other than the outdoor seating. I ordered a side of guacamole with my salad. Someone made the poor choice to mix fresh guac with old guac- turned brown. The flavor was horrible, inedible. I ordered a salad bowl with steak and chicken. Got the steak but not the chicken. The staff-at the counter - are a young and enthusiastic bunch - they were the best part of the experience.
We normally have a very good experience at this location…eat there at least once per week. I ordered online to pick up…the meal was cold and soggy when I got home and was missing some items. I’m only giving feedback so that you can improve on the overall experience. With prices going up a $50 meal (for 4) should be hot, fresh, and on time.
Place has gone downhill dramatically over the last couple of years. Very difficult to order online or over the phone most times. Just got a 10.79 Chimichanga that measured less than 5 inches. Basically an 11 dollar hot pocket. Most times we order there, we swear it’s the last time but we keep trying to relive the glory days with zero luck. After this sad, sad meal I think we may finally be done for good.
Went to Tijuana Flats it was 8:40 got our food. They were into goat containers we were told that we could eat there but they were closing but we could eat while they were there buy a nice woman at the register. Began eating our food the manager Andrea came out and told us to leave very rudely I asked to see the manager and she said you're looking at her then begin to argue with me so we went out to the car and we began to eat in our car watching them close up for the evening which was about 35 minutes later I understand when you're closing but I don't understand when your manager is so rude , rude to their employees, all so rude to their patrons!!!!!!There is no problem with that we will not ever return we ate there about twice a week with my family my mama my sister and my brother and all their kids we will never return
Quality food, fair price, Corona is here! Not the virus type. Very personable employees too. Great date nite. Try it out, you're gonna luv it too.?????
The food is average. Small menu. They did not put queso on the nachos. It clearly says on the menu queso is on the loaded nachos. We brought the person behind the counter over to the table and pointed out there was no queso cheese on the nachos, but he insisted there was queso cheese on the nachos. Very obvious it was not on there.So we carried the chips to the counter and ask somebody else and they agreed there was no queso on the nachos . How we ended up with this most difficulty in this restaurant overcaso sauce cheese on the nachos is mind blowing. Eventually, we were given a cup of cheese to put on the nachos. Amazing.
This location has had problems throughout the pandemic. At first, no delivery available. Tonight, ordered online at 2:30p for a 5:30p pickup. Got to TF at 5:30p and then waited 25 minutes for the order to be ready. When I asked about the status of the order after 15 minutes, was told I was "rude" when I reminded them I had placed the order at 2:30p and it still was not ready. Left the staff a reasonable tip online when the order was placed. Never again. I'm done with TF!
Ordered through the app as required and showed up to pick up food at the time indicated and they told me they decided to close early (even though they were still there) and did not prepare my food and would refund me later in the evening. No call, no email, no cancellation notice. Ridiculous. We have eaten at this location (Lakewood) frequently for years, but never again.
I ordered a curbside pickup, sat for ten minutes before getting up and checking the pick up area inside. I was never notified that my order had changed to pick up inside. So of course my food is cold because i was waiting but on top of that it was mushy practically inedible falling to pieces; i order flautas which are usually crunchy. I could not eat it total waste of money.
