The delivery guy was fantastic. The food was very tasty. We spent over $170 on food and one order was incorrect. When the order was placed the plate was spelled out loud but the plate was rang up improperly. When we called to try and resolve Mona said that we "clearly" ordered wrong. The reason for the two star review was the customer service we received upon trying to resolve the one issue. We have ordered very large orders before and we had planned to continue. Mona however made it very "clear" she was not going to take the food back or replace it. We "clearly" will not be ordering for any special occasion in the future.
It’s rare that I interrupt my dining time to do this, but this place’s food is the most flavorful Mediterranean I’ve had in a very long time! I got the vegetable platter for one, along with tzatziki appetizer and garlic sauce. Everything tastes absolutely amazing but my particular favorites are all the dips and sauces. If you like a burst of fresh and tangy flavors, you definitely need to give this place a visit!
My wife and I stopped in for lunch. This place it the spot. The food was amazing and the people we so nice. You could tell that we were the only tourist in the place as everyone else seemed know what they were doing. I definitely suggest the Olive Tree next time you are in Jacksonville.
We love Greek, Turkish, and Lebanese food so after checking in to our hotel today we walked straight here. Oh my goodness, everything we had was absolutely the best ever (well, except maybe when we were actually in Greece and Turkey but even that’s debatable.) I had the special which was a veggie platter complete with falafel, grape leaves, spinach pie, tahini and cucumber sauces, plus two sides (I chose baba ghanoush and hummus.) My husband had the gyro platter with a side of hummus. All were delicious and authentic!! The icing on the cake is the friendliness of everyone working there. I highly recommend The Olive Tree when in Jacksonville.
Amazing experience last night! Reminded me of the food & experience when we were in Israel! The food was incredible & the service was fast and such friendly people! Can’t wait to go back!
The food here was really delicious! Some of the better Mediterranean fare of Jacksonville! I got the chicken shawarma, and my friend got the James special - both were really well seasoned, and all if the ingredients seemed fresh! The hummus was smooth, the pita warm, and the falafel flavorful! I'm definitely going back
This is a restaurant where you order your food and drinks at the counter. Our attendant was nice and knowledgeable about the food. The food itself was very salty and garlicky. I love garlic, and I thought it was too garlicky. Our attendant came to the table a couple of times to see if we needed anything and that was nice, but I don’t thought it pricey for a self serve restaurant.
Best Mediterranean Food! Very crispy and fresh falafel.....Blackened fish was at its best......Sides(Hummus,tabouleh and baba gaboush)was yummmm! And their rice is excellent as well. Baklawa?? Whatever we ordered was good! Can't recommend enough! Healthy and happy tummy
If I could marry this place I would. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Jacksonville. This picture is the chicken platter with Greek salad but the falafel and chicken shawarma wrap are also incredible. I eat here about once a week and it’s consistently SO good. Last night I actually said aloud to my husband if I could marry this place I would and he said “well I guess I need to get a job there then.” ? Fast and friendly service. Highly recommend!
