Food was great! The dishes are not exactly as stated on the menu, so ask for specifics. But it was still very delicious. Also, the service could have been a bit better, but its not the lady’s fault, she was by herself. Still, 5 stars!
OMG! I had the grits with grilled vegetables and perfect toast! Never had it like that before??? My husband had the chicken and waffles. Fresh and hot! Soft waffles and juicy, tender, crispy chicken! The owner greeted us and everyone else as soon as they entered the restaurant. I am a Restaurateur so I look at everything! Overall service, cleanliness, food and operations were A+. We’re from Missouri, the Show Me State. When ever we’re in Jacksonville again, we will definitely return!
How do I start??? This place totally surprised me. From the talented and crazy personable owner who ran the front, took her our order and served us to the decor to the tasty food this place really rocks. Expect to spend a bit of time here but totally worth it … just a sweet cafe that was very enjoyable yesterday to eat at. Oh.. they have live music too.. not while we were there but are totally set up for it!

This restaurant has a great family atmosphere. Great music, beautiful decor, and the food truly tastes homemade. The sweet tea is delicious and our waitress was so sweet! This is a great spot for a nice relaxing meal.
By FAR the best Chicken and Waffles my husband and I have ever had. The chicken was AMAZING and the syrup tasted better than any syrup I’ve ever had in my life! We love this place!

I have been here quite a few times and I must say I am always impressed with I do. I'm lucky enough to work in the area and I love being able to sit down for lunch and not feel rushed. My food is always hot and made to order. The staff is polite and helpful even when I was clueless as to what I wanted. I even had the opportunity to meet the owner and he was extremely charming and charismatic. I will definitely return with my co-workers for one of their events after work.
