Came in to a very welcoming atmosphere. They gave me a complimentary sushi roll when I sat down along with soup and the most refreshing salad. I got the 3 sushi role lunch special and it was amazing very fresh fish used in the rolls. They kept the drink refills coming as well which was nice. Customer service A++ Great overall experience and only spent $33 for 2 meals

AAAAAAMAZING! 6 Stars. The food was delicious with top of the line customer service. A variety of sushi, hibachi, tempura, and more. Great size portions.. Japanese beer that was smooth and a perfect complement to the meal. Family oriented and excellent atmosphere. A must stop if your visiting Jacksonville.

Sushi Bear not only has excellent food at great prices, but also has customer service from their servers that puts 99% of other restaurants to shame. As someone new to the JAX area I'm excited to finally have found a place that I can see myself becoming a regular at. A++++ Highly recommended .
Phenomenal experience! As a frequent visitor of Asian food restaurants I can confidently say this place is one of my favorites. Amazing service, reasonable prices, clean environment, and outstanding food. Will be returning!
A free roll to start as appetizer. I've been twice and enjoyed the experience both times. Staff are friendly and swift to see that you have everything that you need. Food was a great meal for a quick lunch.It's not the most fancy and not the absolute best I've tasted before, but definitely worth a visit!
Outstanding Experience. The place was busy, yet the service was phenomenal! We were greeted by a pleasant, courteous staff with "smiles" on their shirts, and smiles under their masks. The dining area was very clean, as was the Men's room (I am a big fan of washing my hands before I eat!). Shortly after we sat down our server arrived, took our drink orders, then quickly brought us a clear soup (similar to the soup found at most Japanese Steakhouses), however this may be the best I have had. I was surprised to learn that the lunch specials are available on the weekend as well. I had the sashimi and sushi combo. The sushi was very fresh, and very good. It was the presentation that was really beyond impressive. A true work of art. I am posting a picture as well. It looks great in the picture, but the size and attention to detail is simply amazing. I know from the outside it is just another door in a strip mall, but this place is a definite surprise on the inside. If you like sushi, and have the opportunity, definitely check this place out!
Big big big fan of sushi bear! We’ve been here multiple times with no issues, except this weekend. I treated my friend to sushi bear and three different types of saki. We had a great time. Now, when it comes to checking out I’ve always went to the front counter. I’ve never been told other wise. So this time was like no other. I don’t like waiting for the server to come back , never have. I have two legs, you know? Anyways like any other time I went to the front to pay. Now mind you I’m not hard to miss. I have bright purple hair and did my makeup a little crazy. Our sever wizzed by me while I was In line, literally said excuse me to me to run outside to chase my friend down that was going to smoke to tell her she needs to pay. Now my friend, who is very chill said I is waiting in line. As I got the counter to pay the cashier noticed I was paying and not dining and dashing. It really put a sour taste in my mouth. I was in line waiting patiently for my turn to pay. I still tipped over %20 of our bill which was a fair amount due to our bill, but nevertheless I hope she learned her lesson to not judge and assume. I will continue to come back and will continue to pay at the front.
A quick lunch place with complementary roll to start you off. Sushi, sashimi and tempura were all good. Temperature was a bit odd/muggy but I tend to sit near the door.
Went here on a date. They wanted to try the sushi boat. It was huge!! And amazing!! Walls are amazing to read. And look how much Wasabi was on here!!!!!
