Today’s food was awful. The meat had nothing but fat on it so it was pointless eating it. The lady at the front took her time assisting people. She did not inform who was in line or waiting. I had to wait exactly 1hr and 30 min even when I called 30 min before. You also had to settle with extra rice or a thrown together salad as a side since they were out of food without a price change. Definitely will not be back!
So, I ordered the large Turkey wing with extra gravy and a small fried chicken with a side of corn bread. I will let the pictures show how the food came out. However, the real reason for my review is the poor customer service. I feel that it is 2022, and customers should be treated equally and fair no matter where they go. I have a small business, so its essential for the customer to feel that they are getting their money's worth before receiving the product. I came into the restaurant and greeted the employee, who seemed to have a problem with me being nice. I waited 30 minutes.Additionally, after they had told me, they ran out of the rice that I asked for, and when I received my plate, it was not as I ordered . After the second time, the employee added the gravy. I just wanted to leave after that.
Authentic Jamaican restaurant! I ordered and enjoyed a mixed plate of oxtails and Curry goat over steamed rice with steamed cabbage. Both oxtails and Curry goat was seasoned perfectly and tender.Rice and peas was also available. I enjoyed a cold Red Stripe. Nuff love to the chef and owner for bringing Ja to Jax. Sweet surprise while in the area on business.
Came in late evening 45 min before closing asked what they had so I can order from previous experience so I dont ask for something they are out of..... they said we have stew beef...ordered it wait 20 min call my number I go to counter she opens box closes immediately and says here you go i said is that stew beef ? She replies with a stern yes ...I say ok I guess and proceed to leave get home guess what I got ....not stew beef. I guess they going to tell me I didn't check my food
SPECTACULAR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAD AN ISSUE WITH MY ORDER FROM LAST WEEK, DUE TO MY BUSY SCHEDULE I WASN'T ABLE TO GO BACK IMMEDIATELY. WHEN I WENT BACK THE FOLLOWING WEEK AND EXPLAIN MY ISSUE, THE MANAGER REPLACED THE FOOD ORDER PREVIOUSLY FOR FREE, I WASN'T EXPECTING THAT, SO I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THEIR GENEROSITY. THANKS FOR PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

My favorite Jamaican restaurant in Jax. Have been coming on and off for probably 10 years. The food is always on point. The rare times I have had an issue with my meal, they fixed it no questions asked. I tell anyone who's looking for Caribbean cuisine about Stars and will continue to do so.
Bad customer service!!!! I order from here often but this was my first time placing an online order. I ordered for pick up 40 minutes prior to going to the restaurant when I get there the lady in the front told me that it will be a 45 minute wait for what I order… I work in the food business so I know that I should’ve been notified beforehand ?? The food is good but as it gets popular it goes downhill. very disappointed
Best Caribbean food in Jax. Friendly and quick service especially considering I ordered to feed 20+ people. Food was ready when they said it would be and the whole party was back for seconds and thirds throughout the event. Will definitely buy from them again.
