Great food every single time. They never disappoint me. I love their pancakes and lattes. There is limited parking in the front get there early. The space is great for working or meet ups during the day.
Breakfast burrito and blueberry muffin (Not pictured) was good.Went back for dinner after my infusion and appointments and got the Chicken Ancient Grain Bowl with Shrimp and theSweet Potato Steak Bowl. Very delicious, but I give it 4 stars because I didn’t get the sauce and the avocado on my bowl and was not informed of it.
First time going with my favorite companions. Food was definitely tasty ?. I ordered the Greek omelette w/a pancake. Their lavender latte was a lovely pairing with breakfast. The lamb was well seasoned and combined with their tzatziki, delicious. My friends had grits bowl and avocado toast, totally looked delicious
Great outdoor vibes next to the railroad track with a large seating area. Staff is friendly and they serve various foods and drinks for kiddos and adults (alcohol, hint).We ordered the “3 Eggs with a Pancake” and a “California Bagel”. The omelette was good but the grits were plain (as in, no seasoning at all, not even salt) and were also cold. The pancake taste was good but the underside was bit too toasted, making the pancake hard to cut and feeling more like half cake, half cracker when I’d bite it. The California Bagel was good.Spent $30 in all without any drinks or add-ons. It’s a great place to come with friends and sit and chat, but I wouldn’t come here just for the food. I’d come mostly for the vibes.
Was really impressed with Southern Grounds. The Chai latte was great, there was a good balance between the creaminess and spices. Both the Greek omlette and the panini were delicious, not to mention they have some of the best fries I've had. Parking lot was small, though they had another small-ish lot right across the train tracks.
Best coffee in town. I love Southern Grounds and am delighted to see they opened a location at the airport. Be sure to try the avocado toast and the grits bowl. Delicious!!!
Elianie and Jay made my 5hour wait so enjoyable. What a friendly, kind staff. They were so welcoming and had great work ethic. I appreciate their awareness and not to mention the food was delicious. Grateful for healthy options. Blessed to have these two on your team. I even had to ask for a photo. Thank you ladies for a great experience.

This is the second southern grounds location I've stopped by. The line was going much faster than the place in Neptune beach. I got a a lavender latte for my wife. One aspect I wasn't fond of was the confusion in ordering the coffee from a line in front of the pastry case that doesn't actually have a coffee menu. I ordered the lavender latte and the lady said "yes, we have those" which was good I guess? Would have been cool to know if they have those before waiting in line. Other than that small gripe it was a decent experience. The staff is friendly and the place was nice and clean.
When my associate and I walked in there was no greeting, instead we were met with a peculiar and unpleasant smell. (I had heard rumors about pest issues at this location, but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt.) We decided to just get coffee and avoid any serious commitment. The coffee was okay, tasted a little sour. Throughout our casual meeting and coffee drinking not one employee or manager even acknowledged our presence there. I wouldn't recommend going here when you have so many good coffee options in Jax.
