All they had was fried foods. Nothing was prepared
Went once and the banana pudding was amazing and so was the mac and cheese. But Google and the website and the sign on the door show you’re open today and you’re not. And when I went by this weekend you had no banana pudding or cobbler. Please update your hours and menu because I’d like to come back.
First and last time I ever order food from there. Reason being the worst low county boil i have ere had. When I asked the cashier about it, she said it came with potatoes, corn, chicken and shrimp. When I got it 30 minutes later the chicken was raw,the shrimp over cooked and the corn was missing. The only thing the was fully cooked was the potatoes, eggs and the shrimp. The food is over rated and over priced.
I and 2 friends took a day trip to Jacksonville and on a whim, my buddy found this place on Google. The food was fantastic. Expect home cooked food with service like you'd expect at home. Fried pork chops, collard greens, the yams were like dessert, memorably good corn bread, etc. This soul food was good both for our stomachs but yea, even more importantly, our souls. I would definitely return.

Food is very good , the cashiers are very nice . The owner Mark is very cool and understanding .
I've been there a number of times. The reason is because they don't have any food ready. It's the the weekend why are you running out of wings, and fish? And when you call up there they tell you they have everything but when you get there they have nothing.That's bad business. That's a good way to close shop with no support.So my question is how many times are y'all gonna apologize for running out of food before 2pm
Awesome food
Stopped by after work, had aeen the reviews and decided to give it a try. Ordered chitterlings, greens, Mac&cheese with white rice. The presentation was good, but the rice was not cooked completely, the greens had hair in them and the Mac & cheese didn't have enough cheese. Service was good, but still room for improvement.
