This was excellent and the food outstanding
After many years passing by, I stopped in and wow! Everything was fantastic and I have a new favorite BBQ spot. The macaroni and cheese and baked beans were spot on. The ribs was tender and pulled straight from the bone. I would have attached pics but I was in that page so fast, I forgot to take a picture!Ms. Pam was very nice and I enjoyed talking with her. She reminded me of conversations with a long time friend.
Sorry I didn't take a pic of the food, we were hungry and scarfed our food down! The pulled pork sandwich was huge and had good taste, I also had the mac & cheese which had great flavor and the right amount of seasoning. I don't knpw if they make the fruit drink there but it went very well with the meal.
Smoke in the City ribs is so juicy, and tender you want be disappointed.
Had high hopes for this place given all the good reviews but the food was just okay. The meats were the best part. They were cooked well and had an excellent flavor. The sides were a different story. The baked beans were way too sweet to the point they almost tasted like cake. The mac and cheese was greasy and had too much pepper. The real issue was my collard greens had a piece of wire (like from a wire brush used for cleaning) in them (see picture) that I could have easily swallowed if I hadn't chewed my food thoroughly and felt it in my mouth. I'm glad it was in my food and not my girlfriend or kid's food.Overall, I've had better barbecue and will not be returning.
If you are looking for some good food.. You need to check them out.The Ribs are fall off the bone tender. The chicken is juicy and tender along with the pork.The baked beans are divine ?.I WISH I COULD GIVE MORE THAN 5 stars ?
Picked up the ribs, three bones and quarter chicken dinner that comes with two sides. Everything was amazing. Sad to see they were out of the smoked cabbage as we didn't get there early enough.
The ribs are fall off the bone tender. Chicken and pork is so juicy you're going to need alot of napkins ??? There foods so good your tongue will beat you to death trying to get another bite. BEST BBQ IN J-VILLE HANDS DOWN

The BBQ is good. Ordered the 2 meat combo. I chose ribs and chicken. My 2 sides I chose the baked beans and collards greens.Service was good. I actually talked to the owner and he was real nice. Overall, stop going elsewhere if your looking for the best ribs in town. I arrived 45mins before they closed and the food was still fresh, and the ribs are tender.You won't be disappointed.
