We ordered Door Dash from Simply Tasty Thai on Friday night. After two hours the order was still not ready and I canceled the order. We decided to give them a shot in person on Saturday night. The restaurant was crowded but we were told it was a short wait for a table. While waiting I could see the absolute chaos that was happening. They only had two waitstaff, no bartender, and no dedicated host. The phone was ringing constantly and DoorDash orders kept coming in. The waitstaff had to manage sitting tables, taking phone orders, making drinks, etc. One pushy patron kept coming to the counter to demand drinks and at one point she asked for the water jug to take it upon herself to fill up water at tables. We were finally seated by one waiter and had to ask another waitress who our server was after about 25 minutes. She was lovely and took our order. We waited about 45 minutes for dinner to come out. We were there for over two hours. The food was very good but if the restaurant is so short staffed, which they clearly were, they should consider closing off tables and shutting down Door Dash orders. We gave them a shot two nights in a row and I don't know that we will be back.
Very busy place. The food was tasty. Ordered beef fried rice, barbecued pork and calamari. No fault with the food. The main gripe was with the person taking food orders: no eye contact and seemed to rush and zero customer care. The other staff seemed ok though. I would recommend this place. The portions are handsome.
One of the best Thai joints I have eaten in a long time!! The service was friendly! The owner came out and talked to us and was very pleasant!! The food was the super star here..we order variety of things, everything was exceptional. The appetizers were fresh and flavorful. The soup was out of this world!! The mains were superb and so tasty!! Will definitely become a regular at this place!!!
We were camping in Hanna Park and wanted to go out for dinner. This is the best Thai I've ever had. Nondescript shopping center but inside the place is lovely and the food is fantastic.
The woman is from Thailand and you can taste it in her cooking! Everything was fantastic. The spring rolls, cucumber salad Pad Si Ew etc. Only thing I would not get again is the tossed salad. The peanut dressing was terrific but the lettuce was a tiny portion of shredded lettuce and a ton of plain cucumber for $7. Literally my only gripe.
Was very surprised at how good the food tasted and how nicely it was presented. Keep the restaurant what appears to be family run.
We eat here at least twice a month. Always great service and the food is delicious. Never have had a bad meal. Their prices are also very good. We usually order the sampler 2 and the 3 Kingdom curry with naan bread. I would give it 10 stars if possible. Danny & Lynda.
Amazing! The spring rolls are made vegan and are fire. The dipping sauce is vegan too. I love their fried rice and veggies with cashews added. This place is so good. It’s my new favorite spot.
Love this place. The service is good. The spring rolls, the lumpia, and the money bags are my favorite apps. I usually get the Thai fried rice or the fried garlic. So delicious.
Great food and service! I hope to return soon. Tried Massaman and red curries. Both were excellent. Spring rolls were great!
