Ordered carry out online & everything was great! The flavor bomb sandwich & pickled veggies with a side of loaded fingerling potatoes were phenomenal. Staff was friendly, there were signs outside explaining how to order and what is self serve. Inside things were also clearly labeled “self serve” so there was no confusion! Food was great, staff was kind, atmosphere was cool, very well thought out :)

Chef Kenny Gilbert is a long-time favorite of the food community. His newest adventure, Silkie's Chicken and Champagne is a big hit with the brunch crowd. Fast-casual concept, chicken, waffles, biscuits, and in-house jelly make Silkie's your go to brunch spot. Champagne flights are the ideal beverage. Get together with your besties and do this.

I can't say anything other than purely AMAZING! The flavors are surprising and just explode in your mouth. My chicken and waffles were really good but I feel like I should have gotten the biscuits and gravity. I thought it would be the white gravity but it is this flavored filled sauce that will surprise you in a great way! Please do yourself a favor and hurry here! We were especially excited to see Chef Kenny Gilbert making plates himself!! The vibe is chilled as well and the music was nice! Such a wonderful experience!

The restaurant has a nice concept. My food was delicious. The portion sizes were adequate. The location was in a sketchy area. I didn’t like that I had to fix my own drink and get my own utensils especially because this place it a sit down restaurant. The lemonade container was out of lemonade the entire time I was there and the sweet tea was not sweet at all.

We went on a Saturday, when biscuits and gravy are featured. The brunch specialty is chicken and waffles that come with a variation of flavors. The environment was intimate, allowing for seating of approximately 50.While the food is priced more on the high end, it's more of a self-service environment. You place your order at the counter, seat yourself, and place your assigned number on your table. Drinks, cutlery, to go boxes/bags are all self-service.I spent about $50 on chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, and kool-aid (+ tip...before I knew everything was self-service). Yes! They have kool-aid...which I thought was a good thing (#nostalgic). The serving sizes are perfect. Our table of 4 shared the biscuits and gravy and we each ordered our own chicken and waffle flavor. The chicken is boneless and did not have any seasoning although it was fresh. The waffle was crunchy, square, and got cold too quick to melt the flavored butter . The butter is an extra charge if you choose to change your flavor so choose wisely...lol. Now, the biscuit and gravy was on point! I love that they use chicken sausage on the gravy.I am happy to see this restaurant doing well in the Springfield area, which is up and coming. The food was good and the environment was clean. Overall wait was about 45 minutes from door to seating. Food takes about 20 min to arrive.

I recently moved to Jacksonville and happened upon this restaurant by chance. Fried chicken and champagne? What's not to love. The food was delicious. They have a fantastic range of champagne/prosecco and wines at a variety of prices, and they also have craft beers. My friend and I shared the BLT and biscuit sampler, along with mac and cheese and the fingerling potatoes. We also tried the chocolate cake and chocolate bourbon pecan pie for desert. I'd recommend getting a few different things and sharing. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back. This is the kind of venue where you order at the counter, then find a table and they bring the food to you. You help yourself to cutlery, napkins, plates for sharing, water/ice/cups and to go containers if needed.

Food was good, unique concept first come first served because of seating . There was a constant flow of people i tried the Market Place Sampler it was enough for 2 people

Everything was wonderful. The hospitality as well was great. We will be back very soon

It’s champagne and fried chicken y’all! It doesn’t get any better than that. Chef Kenny is so talented that even Oprah is a fan! And is there any wonder why? He’s the real deal, hard working, talented chef! Crispy fried chicken, gourmet southern biscuits, house made pickles, mouthwatering mac and cheese… and did I mention the champagne? Y’all. Let me say it one more time. Champagne and fried chicken. It doesn’t get any more Penney Farms Princess than that… a little fancy, and a little country, all rolled into one.

Great place in an up and coming area of Springfield. I like the fact that it was in the middle of a neighborhood The Korean Chicken was good, I did not like the biscuit (but I am not a biscuit person), the truffle Mac n’ Cheese was outstanding, and the Kale greens was very good. I wish they would offer more than biscuits as an option for the sandwiches.
