I needed to share my Experience today my husband and I were at Jacksonville Beach and decided we wanted some seafood so we rode all the way to San Marco to our favorite seafood restaurant For dinner as a result we were extremely disappointed we order the seafood trio which consist of three Seafood items Which did not include codfish which is an up charge that we had no problem paying for when we got home I normally check my food but I did not check my food when we got home we had some soggy raggedy swai fish looking cod in our dinner’s I always get fried fish that they called cod their fried cod is the best until today I called and asked to speak to someone the on-duty manager got on the phone and was very rude and un reasonable he told me that the cod fish comes in different ways and I always order cod I Never have I ever got this type of got mushy fish I was just Letting him know what was in my box he kept insisting and asking me what did I want him to do or what do I want like I want something free I paid for dinner that’s what I want a fresh dinner the manager seemed frustrated and very angry he hung up on me said the conversation was going nowhere I probably won’t come back to Island Grill but I want everyone to know that Service And willing to listen to your customers about their food means a whole lot when it comes to customer service this experience cost us and ruined our Sunday dinner All is Well

Great seafood! Well prepared and tasty. The place is small and quaint with that craft eatery feel. Side walk dining or indoor, you can't go wrong. Plus the location lends an opportunity for a nice stroll after a meal. Thumbs up to this place! It's worth a night out on the town!!!
My wife and I found ourselves in Jacksonville this evening craving some seafood. After attending to some business we found ourselves at the Seafood Island Bar and Grill. Paul the manager was on point friendly and helpful having shucked the evenings fresh oysters himself. Our counter help Eli was knowledgeable about the menu and helpful in guiding us ordering. At this restaurant you order at the counter and the food is then brought to your table, drinks are fountain style or bar. My wife’s crab cakes were very tasty and moist with a good amount of crabmeat. I had a redfish filet blackened it was excellent. Loaded baked potato and a very nice fresh house salad. The wife enjoyed the jumbo shrimp dinner. An average full dinner plate runs a little less than 20 dollars In general and many combinations are offered. All our food was excellent , good portions, very fresh. During peak hours the lavatory was clean and spotless. Great relaxed atmosphere in a beautiful downtown setting perfect for the before or after dinner stroll. Plenty of parking highly recommended
And it was all delicious. Well if there is a need to be fully honest, the fries were a bit too salty, but if that's the only thing, sign me up to order again. It was also lightning fast showing up 20 minutes ahead of the estimated GrubHub delivery time. Nooice.
Blackened Mahi and shrimp were amazing. My daughter ate all of her popcorn shrimp dinner. The staff looked exhausted.
This place was great and I’m glad we went there for dinner the night before the 15k race. I got the blackened Flounder and shrimp and my wife got the salmon and you get 2 side items with the meals. The portions are huge. My meal cost $16 and the amount of Flounder and the 10 shrimp on the plate filled me up with ease. I’m from out of town but glad we found this place while we were in town.
I don't know what I was expecting, but I wasn't expecting how great this place was! We ordered delivery and the food came pretty fast. I got the gator tail and the shrimp po boy with mac and cheese and coleslaw. It was all so good.. Great flavors! Plan to try this place out again to dine in.
Awesome experience with great food. Trio was the call for sure. Good portion sizes and great taste. Would be a great stop for anyone.
