Generally really chill vibes and perfect for a laid back day by the water. The food is pretty good and the bar has almost anything you’d need.It does have an unusual smell when you first walk up, and that causes a bit of discomfort before you see everything is pretty nice beyond that.Don’t expect anything fancy, really wonderful for a chill lax day in your beach clothes. Perfect for those of us who like to feel welcome into a place.
FALSE ADVERTISING!!! We had the ‘Seafood for Two platter’ ($49), and it was enough to feed FOUR adults, not two! Ohmygoodness, everything was delicious and perfectly done! The platter came with FOUR sides in addition to swai, shrimp, calamari, scallops, stuffed crab, black beans and rice, sweet potato fries, & onion rings. When we asked for hot sauce, our awesome server Bree asked, “Which one?” BOOM! ??? Y’all, they had at least 4 brands! Bree was so cool and had a great tan, and she’s cute! I think she’s single, people. ? When they’re busy, the wait is upwards of an hour. The food was perfectly prepared. You can sit outside and catch a beautiful view of the water and ferry across the way. Go, go, go there. You won’t be disappointed.
Not too bad. The food is good, the service (Lorrynne) was great, and the view is spectacular! I’d recommend this place if you’re hungry and want to fill up on.
It’s all about the fun and the view here. The food is good, but basically bar food. However, the games and the view make it all worthwhile. The burgers are good. Service was quick the night we went, just depends on timing. The drinks are very good. It’s a fun place to sit, watch people kayak and watch the helicopters- you can’t see that many places.
Met up with a friend for dinner here. We started with their "signature" margaritas which were very good. I had the crab cake entree, which turned out to be a crab cake sandwich on a bun with some sides. I wasn't expecting the bun. The crab itself was fine and the baked potato was excellent. The other 2 members of our group had the crabbed stuffed shrimp, which my wife said was just ok - nothing spectacular. We sat inside with a nice view of the water, and were treated to some dolphins swimming around out there, so that was cool. I'd go again. Server was excellent.
Had a nice lunch with coworkers and it was it was OK. The parking is not the greatest a lot was full and had to find spots
Great location.. We were seated soon after arrival. The poor waitress struggled trying to handle the many tables she was assigned. They do have signs posted stating " Services may be up to one hour doing Peek hours". So that was just about right... The food was not hot.. just warm.. I ordered the Grouper platter.. as a fishermen that fish was not fresh. It was tough & rubbery. It could have been cooked in advance or it was reheated.. the green beans... no kind of season.. The people that were seated in front complained of their food. One of the mean from the table said it was horrible. They exchanged word with waitress... she sincerely apologized but they got up with barley eating and exited. I came to this place in May 2019 while while I was visiting American Beach and it was highly recommended. Then it was great.. somewhere in those years, it took a turn.. Lise likely to visit again
This is some of the best seafood I have eaten since I moved to Florida and the view is incredible. The service was great and when you come to eat you better bring your appetite because you will need it, the portions are enormous and delicious, you definitely get your money worth at this place and it was very enjoyable with a laid back atmosphere. Just come in and relax and enjoy the view and food with great customer service. A definite if you want seafood, it was a little drive but definitely worth it and if you are early enough and go to it you can even take the ferry!!
GREAT location and pleasant view..... Outdoors seating is quite nice, but inside the scent of mold and old carpet turns your stomach, and don't even go into the bathrooms. The food is very GREASY or Batter :( Drinks are pure sugar and not tasty anymore, wife had a mojito it tasted like 7 UP..... This was our go to place in 2019 but now i would go if you paid for the food/drinks, sadly it is that bad. Ohhh and yes we tried to give it another shot as we gave up on the place in Nov 2021 and decided to try it again but sadly the same crapy results.
DId a take out order but parts of order not included. Fish not fully cooked or fresh. Not certain fish was type ordered. Other parts of order supplied correctly. Had a chance to enjoy an appetizer and drink while waiting for order. Very tasty shrimp wrapped in bacon. On the plus side the deck has a great view.
