Came here tonight with a friend. We checked in and sat at a booth towards the kitchen. We had Thai Tea and Limeade to start. We also had Philly Cheese Steak spring rolls, shumai, Calamari, Garlic Basil rice, Royal wings, Drunken noodles, and Mango sticky rice. The Thai tea was my favorite. The limeade was a bit too tart for my taste. They had glass water jugs on the table for water. The spring rolls and shumai were really good. The calamari was bland though, so I didn't eat a lot of it. The garlic basil rice was good, but I took the peppers out of mine. The wings were okay, slightly tangy. I didn't like the drunken noodles though. I think the sauce used in the noodles, threw me off. The sticky rice was also different. I would like to go back and try other menu options in the future. The owner, Jimmy, also told us how to make Thai Tea at home, so I'm definitely going to utilize that, and add boba.
The presentation of the food is amazing, and it tastes better than it looks! Our kids spilled some tea and water and the waiter was all over it with extra napkins. The wait staff is amazing...the food is amazing...I can't rave enough about this place! If you're reading this you should honestly do yourself a favor and go eat there.
Been here a few times and my experiences have been good so far. The foods taste nice, the service is fast and the waiters are also kind. The decoration and environment are neat.
Amazing Thai food. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, the prices are great, and the food is amazing. Variety of dumplings. We went there after a friend recommended it and honestly we had gotten food from there Multiple times after that and it never failed. A must try if you are looking for Thai food.
Was very happy to have found this place and they are open on Mondays. Service was a bit slow due to staffing shortage but waitress was very pleasant and engaging. Turnip cake was crisp and firm, gai lan was slightly overdone but very tasty and good portion. Shrimp, scallop and Shanghai dumplings were all very fresh and filled appropriately. We will be back
Royal Lakes Asian fusion was very delicious and they have really fixed the place up from the previous tenant! I really recommend the Dim Sum menu as well, next time we'll probably just eat from that but we really enjoyed the Green Curry and my wife had the Eggplant stir fry
Nice Thai fusion restaurant tucked in the corner of a plaza off Baymeadows. First visit will not be my last. My host and server was Nhi - lovely lady who is also a foodie who recommended every dish I tried. She was absolutely on point as I loved every moment of my dinner. Taste, presentation, and all the Thai spices was the best experience I've had in a while.Though everything was great, I will return again and again for two items: Thai Tea and the pan-fried chive dumplings!!! Absolutely loved everything, but the tea and the dim sum topped my experience.Nhi, you are a wonderful host and server! Your personality is going to take you places. I wish you a massive amount of success in everything you do. I hope you are there on my next visit.Owner of this restaurant, if you are reading this, you are a beautiful secret tucked in a corner that is deserving of a bigger audience to taste, smell, and enjoy the hard work the chef is serving. Answer to question.I showed to server.It was shrimp roll. It still has flour inside. And outside was dry too. I had same dim sum here before. And that was wrong way to cook.that is why we asked server tochange it.Don’t tell me like we don’t know what is dim sum.My mistake was I didn’t take pictures of it. Be aware! If you get wrong things here, everyone please take picture! Even owner blaming on you like this.Very very rude servers, always on the phone and not caring about own table.Food was served uncooked. They blamed us because I didn’t eat immediately? It just served 5 seconds ago and it was completely RAW. Do you think we have magical power that makes it raw from cooked dim sum?I asked them to change nicely. And they charged double. So we had to pay uncooked dim sum too.Are you serious? Plus they charge more than menu price. I hope they close their business soon if they are being like this to other customers too. Very unprofessional.
