I had a late lunch at Rosy's Mexican Restaurant yesterday at about 2:30pm.I got a Diet Coke with a little Sprite on top with complimentary chips and salsa right after sitting in my booth. Then, I asked for the Cheese Dip while I looked over the menu.I settled on the Chicken Fajitas lunch special. Everything I ate there was excellent. The restroom was clean and the service was prompt. The only reason for not getting five stars is the because Rosy's atmosphere is not exceptional. But, go for the food, service and cleanliness and you won't be disappointed at all.
Authentic, tasty, great service. You can’t go wrong if you’re going to rosy’s
Been here a few times before. I decided to order the Carnita Pibill dish and it was excellent. Very authentic. I Loved it. I will be returning here in the future.
Excellent and authentic food. Super friendly staff. Had Carne aside sift tacos and quacamole. Steak was cooked perfectly and quacamole was sooth and tasty. After living in California for 27 years this place is a pleasant surprise
It was one of the best tamales I've ever had and it was chicken! Friendly fast service. Can't wait to go back
They probably have other good stuff on the menu but I specifically go for their chimichunga lunch special. It's a lot of food for under $8. I like their chips and salsa, just wish it was a little spicier. The staff is always great.
Can food be bland and way too salty at the same time? Yes it can, here at Rosy's. Probably the worst chimichanga I've ever had in my life. And they need to hire more staff and focus on order, the place was packed with people but only one waiter, and two other employees that just ran around giving people drinks and stuff. It was weird. At least it was cheap tho. So 2 stars
One of our favorites! Food is always good, as is the service. Decor could be better but we go for the food not the atmosphere.
Hard to find great tacos in this city. Delightful staff and really great authentic eats. I eat here 2x/wk can’t get enough. Salsa is homemade and delicious. Appreciate the love that’s put into this food.
One of the best Mexican restaurants in Jacksonville. Very simple and casual interior but very good food, great service and inexpensive. Only downside is no bar so drinks are limited to sodas, tea beer and premade margaritas.
