I had never been here before and have worked in the service industry my entire life. Whomever was behind the counter, a woman, was participating in a conversation with whom I believe was a chef. I asked for a simple item and she proceeding to CUT A SLICE WITH HER BARE HANDS from a pie that had been sitting out for gosh knows how long.The man she was speaking with came out from the kitchen and they continued their conversation. It was fraught with red flags: “you aren’t dirty you’re doing your best.” “This place isn’t that clean it’s all we can do.”I was obviously frightened and luckily hadn’t paid. Walked out the door safe and healthy.Do not eat here.
I've been coming here for years/decades practically and Rennas has some legitimate consistency in the kitchen, however the employees working the counter/customer service ( besides Nicki) need an upgrade! One specific employee/Rose NEVER takes initiative to clean tables, inspect dirty glasses, or pitchers, but will loiter in the kitchen to conversate with the pizza makers while customers are left to clean tables, booths, etc. This is a consistent problem with her and she merely can't grasp any initiative!!
Nothing but great things to say about this location. Have been coming here for years!Pizza is always so good and the staff is friendly and attentive. No pizza tops Rennas. I said what I said ?
This is a place that I have been going with my kids for a really long time. My daughter and I always split a white pizza, with anchovies on my half and I used to also eat some of my son's Renna's special. However, my son is big enough now to take care of his own pizza, and for my waist line, I am glad. The pizza is always the same, excellent New York style, thin crust with generous toppings prepared perfectly.
I wanna say I been coming here for a decade and I don’t write reviews but I can’t help myself she deserves it there is a blonde girl named Tiffany that works here and she has the best attitude I have ever seen she handles the guest with so much compassion it’s awesome I love to come in because she makes me feel like I own the place thanks Tiffany you rock!!!!
I'm sitting here watching the very rude cashier mop underneath guests because she obviously wants to leave because the restaurant closed at 9pm is 21min after 9pm.A family that has kids is who she is mopping under being very passive aggressive.This is the restaurant business....sometimes you have to stay late.Pizza is always good I've been coming here since I was 17 I'm 38 now. First time I've ever had a less than perfect experience here.
Worse location.. service is horrible no mask no gloves touching the phone money then go touch the pizza disgusting. Went in there two days ago ordered a slice of pizza with extra cheese I'm a straight up New Yorker slices small she went back to prepare my pizza put one glove on put the cheese on it . She put it in the oven I said I'll be back never went back don't have time to argue with people over being clean it's so important nowadays to be clean this is the worst I used to go on the other side of town on Baymeadows unfortunately they shut it down I have no idea why but restaurant was much cleaner more pleasant people to serve you. Also when I first walked in it was a girl sitting down that work there had on the apron and she was coughing had no mask on disgusting.
I wanted to take my kid out for NY style pizza. She’s never had that style before. Overall good pizza. We got a sausage pizza. Not the best NY pizza I have had, but like I said it was good. The sauce was a bit bland. The sausage was great. The crust was decent, parts were soft and parts were crispy. I expected the crust to be a bit thinner. Employees were friendly. If I don’t find anything better we will be back.
best pizza in the world i think but the only thing that i was upset at they were super super busy they should have told me it was going to be a little while or longer than usual wait i waited 50 minutes for my pizza. but i understand they were busy but all they had to do is let me know what was going to be quite a while. other than that i'll keep going back
Heard the pizza was really good. Decided to give Renna's a try. The pizza was excellent and the salad was fresh.... Two thumbs up...
