Tried this place for the 1st time, and we will be back. Good burgers, equally good topings. The setup is like Moe's or Subway, order at the counter, pick your toppings.Fresh hot food, friendly staff.
After reading all of the reviews I was really excited to try this place out and taste for myself what was being called the best burger in town... I must have hit it on an off day. I was not impressed with the food or the service. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't outstanding. It was just ok. I would eat at Relish again if I were in that area of town but I wont make a special trip like I did this time. We both had fries and a cheese burger, one with bacon. We both were not pleased with the outcome. Sorry. :(
From the moment we walked through the door I had a good feeling with a smiling greeting by a friendly young lady who was cooking . Then on to the friendly smiling young man that took our order and topped our burgers. Food was outstanding, fresh and juicy burgers and fresh crisp fries. I don’t think we could have had a better experience today at around 1pm at this location. Hat’s off to the staff! Thanks for a great meal and experience!
So we stopped in next door at the chiropractic office to see a good friend the other day while in town on business. We needed to eat some lunch before heading out to Venice beach Fl. and they suggested we try Relish. Well this was amazing food and we enjoyed ever bite. Burgers are fresh and service was awesome! Glad we took the suggestion to eat with Relish and will be back if we are in the area. 5 stars all around for this place!
Best burger in townGreat burger place. Very filling got 2 Pattie’s and a poutine fries girlfriend got chicken sandwich. Great variety with toppings and got to make it my own. The restaurant was also super cool and had cool vibes and good music. Definitely a cool spot with great food
Burger good. Tastes like a good fried Diner burger of the 70's. Roll nice. Single filled me up. Should have gotten regular fries. Did not care for the cheese, bacon and ranch fries. Fries soggy, too much cheese and not sure what kind of cheese it was.....better to have ranch for dipping than on top. Staff nice, efficient and accurate. Clean
So I tried this place last night and I was excited based on the reviews. However I should’ve known when I saw the girl making the burgers with no hair net- that that was a red flag. BUT I kept an open mind, but when I was half way through my burger there were a couple strands of hair cooked right in the middle of my burger. I won’t ever go back - I didn’t return the burger because I was already home as I took them to go. That is disgusting.
After our 1st visit to the Tallahassee Relish, we were excited to find out they had a Jacksonville location and finally made our way out.This time we both chose a double big tasty burger with cheese and The Works. It's a good thing I have a big mouth, LOL Even still, I had to unhinge my jaw to get all this goodness, but it was so worth it! So often griddle smash-burgers are so thin, but these were more than ample and covered the whole bun. The patties had nice crispy edges but were delightfully juicy inside, yet not greasy. The toppings were all fresh and the bun was soft yet held up til the last bite.Observing the 3 employees on shift, I noticed how efficiently they were working together. When there were no customers ordering or waiting for food, the staff was continually restocking the toppings & sauces, checking the milkshake machine, restocking the to-go bags, and cleaning.We especially liked the red/green signs on the table indicating if the table had been recently cleaned or needs cleaning. The booth we sat at had just been cleaned, table AND seats. When we were done we flipped over the sign to indicate it needed cleaning, as per the instructions.The bathrooms were spotless and fresh, too.This was a great experience overall. I believe we've found our favorite burger place!
Now I wish I took a picture of our burgers.Oh my goodness we absolutely loved them my husband got the black bean burger and he had bit of everything on his burger. He also did say it was good, and he would get it again. I got a burger that had a bit of everything as well and we just loved it! Very first time having them and I highly doubt it will be our last! Next time I promise to post a picture
Absolutely the best burger in all of Jacksonville. Locally owned which is awesome and the service is always top notch. I've never left here hungry or unhappy
