Good food hard to understand English they try hard. Friendly staff. Have not been on restaurant had to eat outside. Stated due to covid. No take out menus menus taped on desk. They have happy hour my camera failed to take that shot. Go online look at menu. I saw many Coming there picking up thier food
Covid! Saying this with my fingers crossed ?? is over. Let us in to enjoy the atmosphere of your culture. We decided to try this place for the first time and I was extremely disappointed. We attempted to sit outside but it was too hot to do so. The food needs more flavor ?! Anytime I make the statement "this food will be better at home after I add my touch to its" is horrible. The food was not worth the amount that we paid for. Again Covid is almost over let's not use this as an excuse to not people in anymore.
The food was delicious. Due to Covid your food arrives in to go containers but, your welcome to sit and eat. You clear off your mess like at home. No one waits on you. You order before you sit.
Ok let me start with the food it's so so so good, and the servers are great. Please be nice to the crew they get busy like all good food places so bring your patience ?
We ate outside, as the dining room was closed. The food was reasonably priced, varied selection, with good portion sizes. The food arrived hot and fresh. Only a short wait, enjoyed with friendly staff and festive musical ambiance. Will definitely return.
We went around 12 p.m. for the first time. I noticed the doors at the restaurant was closed and a window was open to take the orders. We arrived and a lady was in front of us placing her order. I noticed few people sitting outside waiting for the food. When the lady finally finished with her order they told her that she has to wait 20 minutes and the lady continued taking with the person that was taking her order. So we decided to leave the place and look for another restaurant. Why the restaurant doors was closed? Have not idea. ?♀️ Maybe we try another time.
This was not my first time eating at Puerto Plata but during this visit they happen to be renovating the inside dining area. Your orders are all packed as to go but you can eat at the tables outside if you choose to do so, which we did it was a beautiful day, the waitress still came to help us. They do seem to have limited staffing at this time but it didn't effect anything for us we received our order fairly quickly and enjoyed our meal. We had just missed the lunch time specials but they have happy hour and I got a padsion fruit margaritas that was amazing. I will return the food is delicious and the prices are still fair.
Waooo amazing!!!!!!best food in usa!! I being in a lot of restaurant but none like this one!!! Food was A+++exelente!!!the owner is so humble and friendly!!!!God bless you guys!!!!!
I would have given 5 stars, but honestly, still operating the restaurant like a food truck after covid has been removed as a state of emergency is a huge turnoff. The food was very good and well worth the money but please open back up and serve in your restaurant. I would have eaten on the patio but it was a cold and windy day.
Went in today excited about the food and left super annoyed/upset. We got there right at 12:00 pm and there were only 2 other people in the entire restaurant. The lady said the food would take 15 mins. We waited and waited and finally went to ask at the 45 min mark for our food. The employee said it would be another 5 mins. I’m not sure if she forgot to ring our order or what, but we ended up waiting until 12:55 for our food. That is an hour of waiting for two daily specials (that were most likely already prepared since it was the pulled pork). I understand things have been difficult for restaurants during covid, but don’t give customers unrealistic expectations on how long they will be waiting. At least tell me I will be waiting for an hour. We would’ve chosen to leave. We didn’t even get an apology. Never going back.
