1st off the guy delivering the flour got better customer service the the actual customer also we waited 24min for a 4 min wait and the manager who gave us the food didn't even say sorry. They where out of red beans and rice, Mac and cheese, sweet and unsweetened tea and NAPKINS!!!!! None of the employees where wearing a name tag including the manager and no one was wearing gloves when handling the food. There was trash in the lobby and a corner of the lobby was stacked with boxes and misc. metal items. The only good thing I can say is the chicken was hot, fresh and good.
STOP! Do NOT go here! They used to be solid. I went through the drive thru. There was only 1 vehicle waiting at the window for their food. After 5 minutes, I asked if anyone was there through the call box. I asked 3 times, no response. I thought maybe it was broke. I pulled up to the window. I was ignored. I yelled in the window asking if they're taking orders. I got the corner of the eye look, but nobody would talk to me. They were not under staffed, they're mismanaged. The shift manager was pacing back and forth messing with looked to be a hemorrhoid issue. You wonder how people get dookey parasites in their food. I WAS a consistent customer to this location. NO MORE!!!
Popeyes is my favorite place for chicken. However my last visit to the store on University was horrible. I sat in line for over 30 minutes. I got two wings, a leg, and two thighs but the chicken was cold and dry. It tasted like it was either reheated or had sat there all day. There was no meat on the chicken bones.. My biscuits was disgusting, I could not even eat it. The lady at the drive through was very mean and rude and slammed the glass window shut in my face when she asked me if I would take spicy chicken and I told her no. I am so very disappointed and frankly not sure if I want to risk another visit. I've told everyone I know not to go to that store.
The parking lot and drive through are sort of a nightmare. There's broken concrete everywhere. Aside from that, the customer service was decent and the food was good. My only complaint is that the person at the window started taking another drive through order in the middle of our transaction. I want given the opportunity to ask for extra napkins or sauces at all before they closed the window on me.
This is the most unprofessional, exhausting and ridiculous popeyes I have ever experienced in my LIFE! The wait on food was unbearable. The manager acts like he's the employee. There was no type of communication or structure amongst the business. Bottom line if you are not going to show pride for your occupation then you should consider other alternatives to better suite your work ethic. A downward slope indeed, no, they are already sunk. A bad representation on New Orleans fried chicken. This place needs all the help or it can help by no longer existing. SOS IMMEDIATELY!
I experienced the best customer service I had in a long time! The cashier Miss Arthie (unless I read it wrong) is amazing! She didn’t skip a beat… greeted guests with a smile when they walked in… had great communication with her kitchen and even gave out some extra food for a less fortunate man that walked up and asked. I loved her vibe and I just think we need more people like her. Too many people like her go unnoticed or unannounced and I just think she deserved a little of that recognition. 5 out of 5!!!!
They always forget something in your order. Always check ur bag before you leave. The wait time is ridiculous in the drive thru. You mind as well go inside if it’s even open. That’s the only way you’re getting your food hot. Employees have an attitude, some are okay. If you have time to go to another location do so.
The food was excellent but I had to wait 15 minutes behind 1 car before they could even order. Then wait another 5 minutes to be able to order myself. I ordered the chicken sandwich, fried and chicken strips with fries. I had to wait 15 minutes to get my sandwich and fries but they didn't have my strips ready. So I waited another 15 minutes for them to tell me that they hadn't even begun to cook my tenders and brought me nuggets instead. I have been to 2 different locations and this is the issue every time.
This Popeyes has went downhill. The food is sometimes fresh. The wait times are ridiculous. The employees are rude. They often throw anything in your bag when they are out of something. Always check your order before you leave. Door dash orders take forever, don't even waste your time if you are on lunch break from work. You will be late and disappointed.
The service here at this store was awesome!!!! My wife and I ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and 5 tenders which they didnt have any tenders made at the time we got there 15 min before they closed. So they offered to make our tenders. Let me just say this was the BEST dinner from Popeyes that i have EVER had! They were such sweethearts and the food was hot and fresh! Thank You so much for ending our long night with an amazing meal and customer service!! We will be back!!
